ABSTRACT A method (100) for applying eco-friendly nanoparticles in forensic investigations, the method (100) comprising: synthesizing eco-friendly nanoparticles using green chemistry principles; characterizing the synthesized nanoparticles; applying the nanoparticles to forensic samples; detecting and analyzing forensic evidence using the nanoparticles; and ensuring environmentally safe disposal of nanoparticle residues. The method enhances the sensitivity and specificity of forensic evidence detection while minimizing environmental impact.

[0001] This invention generally relates to forensic science techniques, and more specifically, to a method for using eco-friendly nanoparticles in forensic investigations to enhance the detection, collection, and analysis of forensic evidence while minimizing environmental impact.

synthesizing eco-friendly nanoparticles using green chemistry principles;
characterizing the synthesized nanoparticles to determine their size, shape, and surface properties;
applying the characterized nanoparticles to forensic samples;
detecting and analyzing forensic evidence using the nanoparticles;
ensuring environmentally safe disposal of nanoparticle residues.

2. The method (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the eco-friendly nanoparticles are synthesized to be non-toxic and biodegradable.

3. The method (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the application of nanoparticles enhances the visibility and detectability of forensic evidence.
