Abstract
ABSTRACT A method (100) for managing a multi-storeyed parking system. Further, the method comprising integrating sensors within the parking structure to monitor vehicle presence and availability of parking spaces in real-time. Further, the method (100) comprising the steps of establishing a communication network between the sensors and a central processing unit to transmit data regarding parking space availability. Further, the method (100) comprising the steps of automatically allocating parking slots based on user requests and sensor data at the central processing unit. Further, the method (100) comprising the steps of utilizing an automated entry and exit system with RFID or NFC technology for seamless vehicle access. Further, the method (100) comprising the steps of controlling vehicle movement between floors using a motorized lift system based on dynamic parking slot allocation.

Specification
Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to the field of automated parking solutions and, in particular, relates to a method for managing multi-storeyed parking systems using Internet of Things (IoT) technology to enhance efficiency, optimize space utilization, and improve user experience in urban environments.
BACKGROUND
[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] The increasing urbanization and population growth in cities have led to a significant rise in vehicle ownership, resulting in a pres , Claims:1. A method (100) for managing a multi-storeyed parking system, the method comprising the steps of:
integrating sensors within the parking structure to monitor vehicle presence and availability of parking spaces in real-time;
establishing a communication network between the sensors and a central processing unit to transmit data regarding parking space availability;
automatically allocating parking slots based on user requests and sensor data at the central processing unit;
utilizing an automated entry and exit system with RFID or NFC technology for seamless vehicle access; and
controlling vehicle movement between floors using a motorized lift system based on dynamic parking slot allocation.
2. The method (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sensors include ultrasonic sensors and infrared sensors that provide real-time data on parking space occupancy and availability.
