Specification

Description:Title of the invention:
Lux meter

Field of the invention:
The present invention relates to the field of light detection and particular relates to field to measure the amount of light in a space or on a particular work surface.

Prior art to the invention:
1. A patent document with application number "RU0002804124" titled "Device for accounting for co2 in the soil-plant-atmosphere system" is described here, "invention relates to gas measurement analytical tools for studying the patterns of CO2 flows between the main components of an agricultural ecosystem in a closed cycle. The device consists of two parts: the upper part, which is a box with side edges made of transparent organic glass and the upper part made of clear glass with maximum light transmittance, and the lower part made of neutral polymer material, which is designed to place trays with soil for growing plants. Extraction of excess CO2 and moisture is carried out through forced purging in a closed cycle with a microcompressor, where the corresponding shutter valves regulate the direction of the air mass, allowing the excess moisture to be captured by the reagent and the concentration of CO2 into a flask with an absorbent solution. After cleaning the air from excess CO2 and moisture to ambient values, air from outside is supplied to the installation through the valve. The light mode is supported by a phytolamp. The light level in the system is controlled by a lux meter, and soil moisture is monitored by a sensor installed in the soil tray at the bottom of the device. An irrigation system is attached to the device, consisting of a pump for water supply, a container with irrigation liquid, a main tube with adjustable spray nozzles, which are also used for fertigation and spraying plant protection products and fertilizers from separate containers. Mixing and simulating the air flow is carried out by a wind modulator, and data is collected from sensors at programmable intervals and transmitted to a digital medium. EFFECT: ability to take into account the dynamics of CO2 emission in real time, as well as to assess the influence of various agrochemicals on the carbon sequestration capacity of plants and soil."

wherein, the present invention is to measure the amount of light in a space or on a particular work surface.

Objects of the invention:
It is a primary object of the present invention is to measure the amount of light in a space or on a particular work surface.

Summary of the invention:
An aspect of the present invention to measure the amount of light in a space or on a particular work surface.

Detailed description:
The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.

The present invention will be further described in detail below through specific embodiments.

An embodiment of the present invention is a methodology used in the prototype that it typically have a sensor that detects the light and converts it into an electrical signal. The signal then processed by the Microcontroller to display the LUX reading. In specifically the sensor TSL2591 which converts current from photodiode into voltage. TSL2591 uses an ADC to convert the analog values provided by AMP into digital values. The logic and I2C where the illuminance values are converted into LUX and the I2c where the communication process takes place. OSC is the internal clock oscillator of 320kHz, used as a clock for internal logic. TSL2591 can measure light intensity up to the range from 188 Lux to 88000 Lux units. This low cost and portable Lux meter is the perfect tool for measuring light intensity in a variety of settings. It is small and light weight, making it easy to carry with you wherever you go. It also features a large, easy-to- read, display. So you can quickly and easily get the information you need. So, In this prototype the components present are lux sensor <TSL2591>, Arduino UNO, LCD display and rechargeable battery module for power supply. All the components are fixed inside a box which is portable and easy to handle.
, Claims:Claims:

I claim,
1. A lux meter is a method claim to provide a quantitative measurement of illuminance in lux, which represents the brightness of light falling on a surface.
