Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention relates to IoT and Cloud equipped Alerting Solution for RFID Label Applicators within Logistics Management.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
This innovative technology provides RFID Label Applicators with real-time monitoring and alerting capabilities, making it an invaluable tool in the field of logistics management. By employing sensors to detect high temperatures and the exhaustion of rolls of printing paper, the system ensures that possible problems that could hinder the applicators' ability to function efficiently are promptly detected. The integration of cloud and Internet of Things (IoT) technology enables operators and authorities to remotely access an intuitive dashboard, monitor system status, and respond quickly, even when they are not physically present in the area.
The logistics management systems in use today have trouble keeping RFID label applicators operating reliably and efficiently. Routine issues such as overheating and running out of rolls of printing paper commonly cause disruptions in the workflow, which lowers overall operational efficiency. An intelligent monitoring and alerting system that can spot anomalies in real time and provide operators and authorities with timely information is necessary to meet these difficulties.
US8365788B2 - A printer system includes a print and apply device that receives a single data stream containing label printing/encoding data and positioning data. The print and apply device transmits label data to a printer/encoder portion of the system and positioning data to motors that move the system. Once the printer portion and the applicator portion have indicated they are ready, a signal is sent to apply the label. The label can be applied anywhere in the X, Y, and/or Z directions on a package. IoT and Cloud based solution to monitor and Alerting in RFID Label Applicators is the novelty of the system.
BR0308730B1 - The present invention relates to a radio-frequency identification tag applicator, comprising a radio-frequency identification tag supply holder, a carrier roll holder, a carrier path from said radio-frequency identification tag supply holder to said carrier roll holder, a tag dispensing mechanism along said carrier path between said radio-frequency identification tag supply holder and said carrier roll holder for applying a tag to an object; and an interrogator for writing information to radio-frequency identification tags along said carrier path between said radio-frequency identification tag supply holder and said tag dispensing mechanism. IoT and Cloud based solution to monitor and Alerting in RFID Label Applicators is the novelty of the system.

Simultaneously, the RFID Label Applicator's Proximity Sensor actively monitors the state of the printing paper roll. Another alarm is sent by the sensor when it determines that the paper roll is empty, indicating a possible disruption in operations.
These warnings are shared with the Authority and the Operator in addition to being limited to a local environment. By enabling internet access, the ESP01 Wifi Board makes it possible to transmit alerts to a cloud-based platform. This platform houses a personalized web dashboard that provides an easy-to-use interface for the Authority and Operator to oversee the system remotely. They may now verify the status of the RFID Label Applicators, receive real-time warnings, and respond quickly as a result. The ICAS_RLANode is equipped with an HMI Display to enhance user experience and facilitate local monitoring. Real-time information on the system's status, alarms, and other relevant data are displayed on the display. When an alert is received, a buzzer is set off to provide an extra auditory signal, making sure that operators are aware of the problems as soon as possible. Precise event timing is guaranteed by the RTC Module, which facilitates tracking and long-term system performance analysis.
