OBJECTIVES
In 21th century India is emerging as a global power with its huge population, but women across the country struggle to live life with dignity continues and facing problems like gender based violence, employment, property rights, sexual abuse, dowry harassment. These incidents make women feel unsafe in the society, cant fight or shout when some danger is happening in the environment. Women safety is biggest concern in every country, where women are playing an outstanding role in each and every field, lot of women safety systems are available in the market but still sophisticated system are required. The proposed IOT based wrist band for women will improve women's safety and security which consist of sensors, NODE MCU ESP8266. The image, data from the NODE MCU ESP8266, sensor are programmed with the IOT based wrist band through which women location details, image, live video are send to the nearby police controller room, police station and family members and can be recovered by police officials. This device will help women to be safe in any dangerous situation which also prevent harassment, abuse and violence to every girl child and women.
BACKGROUND
In early times, the status of women in India was inferior to man in the practical life. Indian women are completely devoted to their families. They had to look after the running of the family smoothly, they had to manage the expenses for economic survival of the family along with looking after aged in-laws, nurture the child, to obey the orders of their husband and the elders of the family. Women were not too educated in the past (before independence). Thus the gender inequality was very high in the past and this has been still happening in India.
Men had the role of caring and women had the role of reproduction of heirs and home making. They didn't share an equal position with men their position was subordinate to men and they were recognized as wives and mothers. The Indian patriarchal society that dominates the social, political and economic life of people in the country has never encouraged women in any filed except kitchen. The scenario of women is slowly changing in recent years. We can see a slow and steady rise of women in all fields of importance. Women of today are not just restricted to cooking and taking care of their households, they have to step out their comfort zones to create their own images in the outside world as well, this is in short, termed as women empowerment.
A human being capable of great nurturing, love and compassion has unique way of understanding the world, ability to accept others, women are strong, sometimes shy, a seeker of knowledge, kind-calm, crazy and always beautiful. Indian women given a place of goodness Laxmi in the Indian society and their status has been subjected to many great changes. They are working in all fields like aeronautics, space, politics, banks, schools, sports, businesses, army, police etc.
The safety remains one of the top concerns for women in india, even government and other organizations continue to advocate policy and legislation for women's safety in the country. The IOT based wrist band used for women safety and security in dangerous environment.
DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
The wrist band specially designed for women when they are being harassed or harmed , wrist cam is on through which image and live video can be captured and recorded. Node MCU (Wi-Fi) is an open source software and hardware development environment that is built around a very inexpensive system -on-a-chip(SoC) called ESP8266. GPS is satellite based navigation system is used capture the location information updated in the band.
A temperature sensor is used to measure the object's temperature which could be temperature of person, air, liquid, solid. Global System for Mobile Communication(GSM) is digital cellular communications system, was developed in order to create a common European Mobile Telephone Standard but it has been rapidly accepted worldwide. The image, data from the NODE MCU ESP8266, sensor are programmed with the IOT based wrist band through which women location details, image, live video are send to the nearby Police Controller Room, Police Station and family members and can recovered by police officials.
SUMMARY & ANALYSIS OF INVENTION
An IOT based wrist band is a wearable device designed to collect, monitor and transmit data to a connected system via IOT network. These devices are commonly used in safety, healthcare, industrial applications. The wrist band functions are Sensors: The wristband is equipped with various sensors such as heart rate,pulse sensor, temperature, sensors and GPS trackers to fetch the data.
Data Collection: It collects real time data related to the wearers physical activity vitals(e.g. heart rate, temperature, location or environmental conditions)
Connectivity: The wristband uses wireless communication technologies (e.g. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or cellular) to transmit the data to Smartphone of family members and also the cloud platform, it can directly accessible by the police control room.

Feedback & Notifications: Based on the processed data, family members and near by police may receive real time data and alters on their Smartphone and cloud storage.

Node MCU ESP8266:
The Node MCU ESP8266 is open source IOT platform combines development board with ESP8266 Wi-Fi. The ESP8266 provides built Wi-Fi, enabling easy connection to local networks and the internet, includes microcontroller capable to running scripts making it suitable for IoT projects, which support Lua scripting language and Arduino IDE.
