Specification

Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to an automated plant watering systems, particularly an IoT-enabled mobile robot designed to autonomously water plants.
BACKGROUND

[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Traditional plant watering practices often require manual effort and lack precision, leading to under- or over-watering, which can negatively impact plant health. While automated water delivering systems exist, they are generally fixed in place and lack adaptability for multiple loc , Claims:WE CLAIM:
1. An IoT-based plant watering robotic device (100), comprising:
a soil moisture sensor (102) for detecting soil moisture levels;
a microcontroller (104) configured to receive data from the soil moisture sensor and activate a water valve (106) when soil moisture is below a defined threshold;
a navigation module (108) for autonomously moving the robotic device between plants; and
a wireless communication module (110) for transmitting real-time data to a user interface.

2. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the microcontroller (104) is configured to deactivate the water valve (106) when soil moisture reaches the defined threshold.
