Specification

Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of healthcare and, in particular, to a system and method for monitoring intravenous (IV) fluid levels using Internet of Things (IoT) technology.
BACKGROUND

[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Intravenous (IV) therapy is a common medical technique used for administering fluids, medications, and nutrients directly into a patient's bloodstream. Accurate monitoring of IV fluid levels is critical to ensure patient safety and effective treat , Claims:1. An IoT-based intravenous fluid monitoring system (100) comprising:
a plurality of sensors configured to detect IV fluid levels, flow rates, and pressure variations;
a communication module coupled with the plurality of sensors, the communication module transmitting the detected parameters to a processing unit;
a processor communicatively coupled with the communication module, wherein the processor is configured to:
receive the detected parameters from the sensors,
analyze the data in real-time, and
generate actionable alerts regarding IV fluid status;
a user interface designed to present the analyzed data to healthcare providers in a clear and comprehensible format.

2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of sensors includes fluid level sensors, flow rate sensors, and pressure sensors.
