ABSTRACT
An IoT based home automation system (100) comprising one or more sensors configured to monitor environmental parameters and detect presence or motion within a residential space, an IoT enabled central hub communicatively connected to said sensors, the hub being configured to process sensor data and control home devices based on pre-set conditions, a communication module enabling remote access and control of the home devices, a set of actuators interfaced with the home devices, wherein the actuators are configured to execute commands received from the central hub and a user interface coupled to the IoT enabled central hub and allow a user to control, monitor, and automate the home devices from a remote location.

FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to an automation system and in particular relates to an IoT based home automation system.
BACKGROUND

[0003] Home automation systems have become increasingly popular as they offer convenience, security, and efficiency for residential spaces. Traditional home systems often require manual operation of lighting, temperature, security, and entertainment systems, which can lead to ineffici , Claims:1. An IoT based home automation system (100) comprising:
one or more sensors (102) configured to monitor environmental parameters and detect presence or motion within a residential space;
an IoT enabled central hub (104) communicatively connected to said sensors, the hub being configured to process sensor data and control home devices based on pre-set conditions;
a communication module (106) enabling remote access and control of the home devices;
a set of actuators (108) interfaced with the home devices, wherein the actuators are configured to execute commands received from the central hub; and
a user interface (110) coupled to the IoT enabled central hub and allow a user to control, monitor, and automate the home devices from a remote location.
2. The IoT based home automation system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the user interface (110) enables integration with voice assistant systems, allowing the user to control the home devices through voice commands.
