Specification

Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of disaster management systems, specifically to an integrated IoT-based system for the detection of floods and earthquakes, and the coordination of rescue operations to mitigate the impact of such natural disasters.
BACKGROUND

[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes pose significant threats to human life, infrastructure, and the environment. Traditional methods of disaster detection and resc , Claims:WE CLAIM:
1. An IoT-based flood and earthquake detection system, comprising the steps of:
flood sensors (102) for monitoring water levels in flood-prone areas;
seismic sensors (106) for detecting ground vibrations and tremors indicative of earthquakes;
a central processing unit (104) configured to receive data from the flood sensors (102) and seismic sensors (106) and analyse the data to determine the occurrence of a flood or earthquake event;
a wireless communication module (110) connected to the central processing unit (104) for transmitting real-time alerts to authorities and affected populations; and
a rescue coordination module (112) for managing and allocating rescue resources based on real-time data analysis.

2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the central processing unit (104) is further configured to employ machine learning algorithms to enhance the accuracy of flood and earthquake event detection.

3. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a user interface (114),
