Abstract

[029] Managing waste is a global issue that affects people. Waste increases exponentially as a result of urbanisation and growing populations. Due to the conventional methods of waste management's inability to keep up, there is a risk to public health, contamination of the environment, and depletion of resources. Therefore, the current invention uses Internet of Things platforms to set an intelligent trash can and the height of the trash can. The majority of garbage management practices today lack actual The current networking function is just to clear each one at a set time along a predetermined route. Dustbins frequently hold less rubbish than the amount that is rarely found, therefore garbage is now cleared out to make space for more labour and resources.

1. IOT based dustbin comprising garbage bin, Iot platform, management system through computer and mobile software.
2. IOT based dustbin wherein, it is provided with sensor to report and alarm when the dustbin is filled with garbage.
3. IOT based dustbin wherein, the battery used for giving power to sensors are lithium battery.
4. IOT based dustbin wherein, there is a command action for the purpose of emptying the dustbin.
5. IOT based dustbin wherein, it helps in keeping the city clean by giving regular updates to street cleaners.
6. IOT based dustbin wherein, it has demonstrated the capacity to promote environmentally friendly waste management techniques and increase public awareness of recycling.
