INTERNAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR THE DEAF
Fielcl of Invention:
This invention pertains to a modem communication system designed for Deaf individuals,
enabling seamless communication within offices, homes, or other environments. Traditional
intercoms rely on auditory signals, making them inaccessible to Deaf or hard-of-hearing users.
This invention leverages visual and tactile notifications, such as video-based communication,
vibrations, and flashing lights, creating a fully inclusive and accessible system. Additionally, it
eliminates the need for complex and expensive wired systems, utilizing wireless technologies like
Wi-Fi to ensure efficient and cost-effective communication across multiple devices.

ARCIDTECTURES
Implementation and Analysis of A Free Wireless Intercom System
Reference to "Implementation and Analysis of A Free Wireless Intercom System" by Ibrahim
Adabara et aL This study presents the design and implementation of a free intercom system that
operates using Wi-Fi in peer-to-peer (P2P) or WLAN networks. TI1e system utilizes packet
switching for communication between devices such as mobile phones, computer~. :and !P phones
without any physical witing. An Asterisk-based server facilitates real-time comtimnication, with
protocols such as Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) used for voice, video, and text:tnessaging. TI1e
system significantly reduces costs by eliminating the need for hard-wired intercoms or ptivate
branch exchanges (PBX), while also monitoring parameters like jitter, bandwidth, and packet
transmission. This paper serves as the basis for implementing Wi-Fi-based communication in the
proposed Deaf conununication system, ensuring accessibility and afford ability.
Design and Implementation of the DLNA Family Intercom System for ·smart Homes·
Reference to "Design and Implementation of the DLNA Family Intercom System for Smart o
Homes. By "Chin-Fcnf Lein and Hsien chaio Haung. TI1is work proposes an advanced family
intercom system using DLNA architecture, allowing communication across locations in a home
without the need to know or dial extension numbers. TI1e system eliminates the need for tract itional
master stations and allows for seamless mobility. With this technology, users can communicate
easily with family members without worrying about their fixed location in the hoi1se. This concept
of extension-free communication inspired the design of a flexible, multi-device intercom system
fQr Deaf users, making it possible to reach individuals across d iffcrent locations within an office
or home environment without physical barriers.
