Abstract

The present invention discloses a IoT based parking system comprising a server (103), processor, a database (104), a network (105), a parking lot (107) installed with one or more sensors. The system is configured to continuously update the database real-time with parking slot availability data that is accessible to the user (101) on a user device (102) to select parking slot, manage vehicles and parking fees. Additionally the invention relates to a method of working of the IoT based parking system of the present invention. Figure 1 and 2.

Description:FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention relates generally to an Internet of Things (IoT) platform. More specifically, the present invention relates to an Internet of Things (IoT) based smart parking environment and method of parking.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Urbanization is expanding, and traffic in mega cities is becoming heavier.
With urban parking issues on the rise, there's a growing demand for new parking solutions. Parking problems are caused by three main components: (a) the incoming traffics, (b) the limited number of available parking spaces, and (c) the lack of information. An increasing number of cities suffer from traffic congestion and time losses due to the lack of parking spaces. One of the sought after parking solution is IoT usage for parking systems.
US20220122458 titled "Method and Smart Parking System using Intelligent Plug-And-Play Point To Multipoint Internet Of Things (Iot) Platform", disclosed a smart parking system and method are disclosed which includes a plug-and-play and point to multipoint (PnP&P2MP) based internet of things (IoT) parking sensors, gateway managers, and user devices that can share information via a network. The information is used to preserve parking spaces, calculate minimum parking search time, and establish a dynamic queuing system to achieve high throughput, avoid traffic congestion and time losses.
US20190147138 titled "Utilizing Iot Devices for detecting an Emergency and Locating a Convenient Parking Space" disclosed Embodiments describe an approach to monitoring user health data. Determining if the user is having an emergency based on the user health data. Responsive to determining the user is having an emergency the user's location. Identifying one or more available parking spaces based on the user's location, and outputting locations of one or more available parking spaces to the user.
Accordingly is provided a versatile weight measurement system, which integrates multiple Bluetooth weight units and simultaneously measures multiple weights.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
It is a principal object of the present invention to provide an IoT based parking system that helps ease traffic and boost productivity.

It is a principal object of the present invention to provide an alternative to manual parking systems.

It is another object of the present invention to provide an IoT based parking system wherein vehicles may find and reserve parking spots more quickly, with ease and saves time.

It is another object of the present invention to provide an IoT based parking system that is accessible over an user implementable device on an application and can be operated over a network.

It is another object of the present invention to provide an intelligent parking system that makes use of IoT-based systems and artificial intelligence to enhance applications is crucial to preventing time consuming and labor intensive parking systems.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
It is a principle aspect of the present invention to provide a IoT based parking system (100), comprising:
one or more users (101) with user devices (102) with parking system application interface;
a server (103);
processor;
a database (104);
a network (105);
a parking lot (107) including one or more sensors, and
wherein the sensors provide real-time parking lot availability data to the server (103) over a network (105), the processor processes the data and stores in the database (104) that is communicated for access at the application programme interface at the user implementable device, and configured to identify a parking slot, selection of parking slot from the available slots, manage parking fees, duration of parking of the vehicle.

It is a another aspect of the present invention to provide a IoT based parking system (100), wherein the network is selected from wired connections, wireless protocols (like Wi-Fi or cellular networks), and the internet.

It is a another aspect of the present invention to provide a IoT based parking system (100), wherein the sensors are installed in the parking lot for continuous monitoring of the available spaces for parking.

It is another aspect of the present invention to provide a method of working of IoT based parking system (100), comprising steps:
user (101) accessing of the application on a user interface on
user implementable device (102);
placing request for parking that is communicated by the application programme interface ;
communication of the request to the server (103);
processing of the data from the database (104) by the processor comprising data preparation, parameter optimization, tensor flow, learning and forecasting,
storing of the data in the database (104), and
transmission of the data over network to the user device (102) disclosing parking lot availability.

It is another aspect of the present invention to provide a method of working of IoT based parking system (100), wherein the data comprises data acquired by the cameras and the sensors installed in the parking lot (107).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
An IoT-based smart parking system to provide real-time data on parking space availability, pricing, payments, and beyond, for businesses and consumers. It positively impacts the environment and traffic. It also ensures efficient parking reservation and management.

Embodiments of the present invention discloses in reference to figure 1 an IoT based parking system (100), that comprises one or more users (101) with user devices (102) with parking system (100) application interface, a server (103), a processor, a database (104), a network (105), a parking lot (107) including one or more sensors.

User comprises an user (101) of a vehicle looking for a parking slot in the parking lot (107). The system's users may also include which include drivers and parking executives. User is interfaced to the system on a dedicated application programme interface which is downloaded and accessed on the user implementable device. The user implementable device is selected from any mobile, desktop, laptop, ipad and the like. These devices are configured such that they are connected to the programme application platform over a network.

Middleware of the system comprises the server (103), database (104) and the network (105). This middleware is a layer of software that facilitates data interchange and communication by acting as a go-between for the application and other networks and devices. The system comprises a server (103) that saves and handles the information gathered from the devices and gives the application an interface through which to access and control the information. The server is connected to the user devices over a network (105).

Network (105) according an embodiment of the present invention is a communication infrastructure that links all the parts, such as wired connections, wireless protocols (like Wi-Fi or cellular networks), and the internet.

The system further comprises sensors that are installed in the parking area to provide real-time parking lot availability data to the server (103) over a network (105). The system comprises computer implementable instructions or programmes which is implementable by the processor for performing the process steps of the IoT based intelligent parking system of the present invention.

In reference to Figure 3, the processor processes the data and stores in the database (104) that is communicated for access at the application programme interface at the user implementable device, and configured to identify a parking slot, selection of parking slot from the available slots, manage parking fees, duration of parking of the vehicle.
A second embodiment of the present invention, in reference to figure 2 discloses a method of working of the IoT based parking system (100) of the present invention. The process of IoT based parking is bifurcated into:
Sensing: Every parking place has sensors attached to continuously check if it
is occupied or free.
Data Transmission: Using the networking architecture, the sensors send the
gathered data to the application.
Processing and Management of Data: The program processes the data that is
received, modifies the database (104) to reflect the current status of the parking
spaces, and may also initiate activities like displaying real-time availability
information or starting automated payments.
User Interaction: To check real-time parking availability, make reservations,
receive guidance to available spaces, or make payments, users can engage
with the system via a smartphone app or other interfaces.

The method of working of IoT based parking system (100) of the present invention comprises steps:
user (101) accesses the application on a user interface on user implementable device (102), user places request for parking on the user implementable device (102). This request is communicated by the application programme interface to the server (103). Further the processing of the data from the database (104) by the processor using the algorithm or the computer implementable instructions.

The processing steps comprise data preparation, parameter optimization, tensor flow, learning and forecasting, storing of the data in the database (104), and transmission of the data over network to the user device (102) disclosing parking lot availability.

WORKING
In reference to figure 2, the user accesses the user (101) accesses the application on a mobile application (102), user places request for car parking. This request is processed by the process with the algorithm/ computer programmed, particularly JSON API. The API request is communicated to the server (103), particularly the cloud based smart parking server (103). The process performs data preparation, tensor flow preparation, learning, hyperparameters optimization and forecasting, and sends them to the parking finder API within the server. The outcome of the request is provided to the mobile device (102) of the user (101). The database (104) stores the data of the parking slot in the parking lot by continuous monitioring by the sensors in the parking lot (107).

1. A IoT based parking system (100), comprising:
one or more users (101) with user devices (102) with parking system application interface;
a server (103);
processor;
a database (104);
a network (105);
a parking lot (107) including one or more sensors,
wherein the sensors provide real-time parking lot availability data to the server (103) over a network (105), the processor processes the data and stores in the database (104) that is communicated for access at the application programme interface at the user implementable device, and configured to identify a parking slot, selection of parking slot from the available slots, manage parking fees, duration of parking of the vehicle.

2. The IoT based parking system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the network is selected from wired connections, wireless protocols (like Wi-Fi or cellular networks), and the internet.

3. The IoT based parking system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sensors are installed in the parking lot for continuous monitoring of the available spaces for parking.

4. A method of working of IoT based parking system (100) as claimed in claim 1, comprising steps:
user (101) accessing of the application on a user interface on user implementable device (102);
placing request for parking that is communicated by the application programme interface ;
communication of the request to the server (103);
processing of the data from the database (104) by the processor comprising data preparation, parameter optimization, tensor flow, learning and forecasting,
storing of the data in the database (104), and
transmission of the data over network to the user device (102) disclosing parking lot availability.

5. The method of working of IoT based parking system (100) as claimed in claim 4,wherein the data compises data acquired by the cameras and the sensors installed in the parking lot (107).
