Specification

FTELD OF THE INVENTION
The system and technique for tracking and controlling resource usage, particularly that of water and energy, are the subject of the current invention. More precisely, it uses an integrated sensorbased tracker to measure and analyze water and electricity usage in real-time. It notifies users of possible resource waste, and excessive consumption patterns and gives them actionable insights via a cloud-based dashboard. The systems and techniques for tracking and controlling utility consumption-more especially, water and electricity usage-are the subject of the current innovation. In order to provide real-time usage data, consumption insights, and practical suggestions to cut waste and improve sustainability, it combines the tracking of electricity and water into a single, user-friendly platform that makes use of sensors, cloud storage, data analytics, and security protocols.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The demand for basic resources like water and electricity has increased as a result of urbanization, industrialization, and the growing global population. In order to avoid shortages and excessive use, it is now essential to manage these resources. There are a number of monitoring tools available for measuring power and water consumption even at terms of drinking of water independently, but there aren't many combined solutions that offer a thorough picture of both resources on one platform. Existing systems frequently have problems such inadequate accessibility, imprecise measurements, erratic data transfer, and privacy difficulties. Additionally, there aren't enough user interfaces that can be customized to make the data easily comprehensible and actionable.
These issues are addressed by the Hydrel-Water and Electricity Tracker, which offers a single solution that combines tracking for both water and electricity and offers secure data. Technologies to preserve these essential resources have been developed as a result of the growing demand for water and electricity around the world, as well as worries about resource depletion and environmental sustainability. There aren't many integrated systems that provide real-time monitoring and actionable data on a single platform, even though existing solutions frequently track power and water consumption independently. Current gadgets, such the Sense Energy Monitor and Flume Smart Water Monitor, only have a few features. These systems frequently have drawbacks including expensive installation, erroneous readings, poor connectivity, and privacy issues. Therefore, a thorough and easy-to-use tracker that combines electricity and water monitoring, offers precise statistics, and protects users' privacy and security is required.
Additionally, there aren't enough user'interfaces that can be customized to make the data easily comprehensible and actionable. These issues are addressed by the Hydrel-Water and Electricity Tracker, which offers a single solution that combines tracking for both water and electricity, encrypts data securely, and facilitates user-generated conservation insights. Technologies to preserve these essential resources have been developed as a result of the growing demand for water and energy around the world, as well as worries about resource depletion and environmental sustainability. Current devices only provide a limited number of functions. Therefore, a thorough and easy-to-use tracker that combines electricity and water monitoring,
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The Hydrel- Water and Electricity Tracker is a complete, integrated gadget that tracks and keeps track of the water and power usage in a home or business in real time. To collect use statistics, the system makes use of smart sensors that are mounted on the electric and water meters. After that, the data is sent to a centralized platform via secure cloud-based infrastructure, where it is processed, examined, and displayed for user viewing.
Components and Features:
Sensor technology: The electric-meters are connected with Current transformers (CTs). This is the sensor that could track down the electricity consumption units. The installation of smart water meter at the main circuit tracks the water consumption unit. Depending on the needs of the system, each sensor uses Wi-Fi to send data to a central processing unit.
Cloud Data Storage and SQL Database: Real-time accessibility is ensured by uploading all gathered data to a cloud server. For effective processing and retrieval, the data is kept in a SQL database. To improve user comprehension, Power BI is used to generate visual representations of the data, including as pie charts, graphs, and usage statistics.
Dashboard Interface: The system provides a user-friendly dashboard that offers detailed insights into both water and electricity usage. It displays real-time data, historical trends, and statistical analysis over different time intervals (e.g., daily, monthly, yearly). Users are alerted to abnormal usage patterns, or instances of high consumption, and can view cost calculations based on region-specific electricity pricing (e.g., Tamil Nadu Electricity Board tariffs).
Alerts and Notifications: Real-time automated alerts for unusual consumption units sent by the system via desktop or mobile notifications. Notifications can offer recommendations for cutting waste, and the user can configure preferences to receive alerts for excessive use.
Continuous Monitoring and Auditing: Hydrel implements the continuous monitoring and auditing processes to track data access and usage. By monitoring the activities of the user and system interactions, the tracker can detect and respond to the suspicious behavior or unauthorized access attempts when observed. This is an effort taken for the minimizing the risks of data theft.
Data Privacy and Security: The cloud architecture protects against data breaches and unauthorized access by using SSL and TLS encryption for secure data transport. Role-based access control makes sure that only authorized users may view or alter data, and the system complies with regional standards and data privacy laws like the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Cost Calculation: In order to raise awareness and encourage conservation, the tracker calculates the expected utility costs depending on consumption, accounting for local tariffs, and provides notifications when users surpass their usual usage restrictions.
Predictive Analytics and Future Enhancements: Predictive analytics could be incorporated into future iterations ofHydrel to foresee usage patterns based on past data and outside variables (e.g., seasonal changes, household habits). The technology can be included into smart home ecosystems, enabling remote control of faucets or appliances and automated adjustments to efficiently minimize water and electricity usage.
ADDITIONAL RECOMMENDED FIELDS
Improved Sustainability Practices: An eco-impact assessment field should be incorporated into the tracker to evaluate how its use supports sustainability objectives including carbon footprint reduction, energy efficiency, and water conservation.
Improved scalability: The technology should be flexible enough to adjust to the utility grids and tariffs of many nations, and scalable enough to support extensive commercial or municipal deployments.
AI/ML Integration: Future developments could include artificial intelligence or machine learning algorithms that personalize consumption suggestions based on user behavior
