ABSTRACT A home security system 100, comprising at least one ultrasonic sensor 102 connected to a microcontroller, wherein the at least one ultrasonic sensor is capable of detecting motion within a specified range to identify potential intrusions, a communication module 104 connected to the microcontroller and configured to transmit alert notifications to predefined recipient numbers upon detection of motion by the ultrasonic sensor, a user interface 106 configured to allow arming and disarming of settings including sensitivity levels and recipient contact information, plurality of light indicators 108 to display the status of the system 100 as either armed, disarmed, or alert mode and wherein the system 100 is configured to operate autonomously and transmit alerts in real-time without dependency on internet connectivity. <>

[0001] This invention generally relates to a home security system and, in particular, relates to a system designed to detect intrusions, transmit alerts, and provide user control for security management.
BACKGROUND
