Street lamps are vital to urban infrastructure, enhancing safety and energy conservation. It's hard to envision a city without them, as their absence would likely lead to increased risks of traffic accidents, theft, and crime. Current street lamp management methods rely on manual oversight and light perception controls, both of which have significant drawbacks. Maintenance often takes too long, particularly for suburban lamps, with delays extending to several months. This increased downtime can heighten safety hazards, as broken lamps elevate the risk of accidents and crime. Furthermore, existing systems lack real-time monitoring and control, complicating maintenance efforts. Manual management is not sufficiently efficient, often relying on a single switch to control multiple lamps, limiting flexibility and responsiveness. To address these issues, optimizing street lamp management is essential, incorporating remote and real-time control systems to enhance safety and energy efficiency in urban areas

The street lamp as an essential part of urban infrastructure in the city, closely relates to the safety and energy conservation. Presently, the street lamps mainly adopt manual management or light perception control. Both manual management and light perception control adopt manual patrol to check broken street lamps. Therefore, the maintenance period is long . The energy consumption of current street lamps is high and have only two states, on and off.
Moreover, they cannot adjust their brightness sometimes, the street lamps can be dim to reduce energy consumption. .
