Abstract
ABSTRACT a height adjustable mobility system (100) for walking impaired, the system (100) comprising: a frame (102) comprising a backrest, armrest, footrest configured to provide support to a patient’s body; a plurality of sensors (104) configured to detect presence of obstacles in proximity to the frame, a processor (106) communicatively coupled with the plurality of sensors (104), wherein the processor (106) is configured to: receive data from the plurality of sensors (104), determine presence of the obstacle, and actuate a pair of motorized wheels (108) attached with the frame for dodging the obstacle; and a scanner (110) configured to determine physical characteristics of the patient, wherein the processor (106) is configured to actuates an actuator (112) attached with the frame for adjusting size and dimensions of the frame (102) to properly accommodate the patient’s body.

[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of mobility assistance technologies and, more specifically, to a height-adjustable mobility system designed to aid walking-impaired individuals by integrating sensor technologies and automated response mechanisms for obstacle avoidance and personalized adjustments.

a frame (102) comprising a backrest, armrest, footrest configured to provide support to a patient's body;
a plurality of sensors (104) configured to detect presence of obstacles in proximity to the frame,
a processor (106) communicatively coupled with the plurality of sensors (104), wherein the processor (106) is configured to:
receive data from the plurality of sensors (104),
determine presence of the obstacle, and
actuate a pair of motorized wheels (108) attached with the frame for dodging the obstacle; and
a scanner (110) configured to determine physical characteristics of the patient, wherein the processor (106) is configured to actuates an actuator (112) attached with the frame for adjusting size and dimensions of the frame (102) to properly accommodate the patient's body.
2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the actuator includes but not limited to pneumatic actuators.
