Abstract
ABSTRACT A haptic-based language communication system (100) for visually and hearing impaired, the system (100) comprising a wearable bracelet (102) equipped with a plurality of haptic motors configured to provide tactile feedback, a microcontroller (104) connected to the bracelet and programmed to translate text input into a sequence of haptic feedback patterns, a wireless communication module (106) for transmitting data from a central processing unit to the bracelet and a user interface (108) installed within the wearable bracelet, wherein the user interface is configured to translate text-based content from plurality of sources into haptic signals that represent language of the plurality of sources in a non-visual, tactile format, allowing a user to comprehend the communicated message at a rate comparable to natural human speech.

Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to a communication system and, in particular, relates to a haptic-based language communication system designed for individuals who are visually and hearing impaired.
BACKGROUND
[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Individuals who are visually and hearing impaired often face significant challenges in effective communication. Conventional methods, such as Braille, while helpful, are limited by their learning curve, slow reading speeds, and reliance , Claims:1. A haptic-based language communication system (100) for visually and hearing impaired, the system (100) comprising:
a wearable bracelet (102) equipped with a plurality of haptic motors configured to provide tactile feedback;
a microcontroller (104) connected to the wearable bracelet (102) and programmed to translate text input into a sequence of haptic feedback patterns;
a wireless communication module (106) for transmitting data from a central processing unit to the wearable bracelet (102); and
a user interface (108) installed within the wearable bracelet (102), wherein the user interface is configured to translate text-based content from plurality of sources into haptic signals that represent language of the plurality of sources in a non-visual, tactile format, allowing a user to comprehend the communicated message at a rate comparable to natural human speech.
2. The haptic-based language communication system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more sources include documents, web pages, an
