HANDOVER MEASUREMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH MULTIPLE THRESHOLD AMOUNTS

Abstract

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a network entity associated with a first cell, a measurement report triggering a first handover procedure from the first cell to a second cell, wherein the measurement report is transmitted to the network entity based at least in part on a second measurement associated with the second cell being greater than a first measurement associated with the first cell by a first threshold amount. The UE may monitor the first measurement and the second measurement for triggering a second handover procedure from the second cell to the first cell, wherein a second measurement report is transmitted triggering the second handover procedure if the first measurement is greater than the second measurement by a second threshold amount that is greater than the first threshold amount.
