[0018] In any embodiment described herein, the open-ended terms "comprising," "comprises," and the like (which are synonymous with "including," "having" and "characterized by") may be replaced by the respective partially closed phrases "consisting essentially of," consists essentially of," and the like or the respective closed phrases "consisting of," "consists of, the like.

[0019] As used herein, the singular forms "a," "an," and "the" designate both the singular and the plural, unless expressly stated to designate the singular only.

[0020] The present invention relates to a fruit segregation device that is capable of gathering fruits of similar size and separating them according to size in order to achieve the right fruit sorting also capable of allowing dispensing of the fruits through respective gaps formed based on the determined size of the fruits.

[0021] Referring to Figure 1, an isometric view of a fruit segregation device is illustrated, comprising a frame 1 is installed with a pair of rods 2 mapped parallelly in a horizontal manner, a chamber 3 is installed with the frame 1, an inlet 4 is crafted on the frame 1 via the conduit 7, an artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 5 is integrated with the frame 1, plurality of compartments 6 are installed beneath the gaps inside the frame 1.

[0022] The proposed device includes a frame 1 is installed with a pair of rods 2 mapped parallelly in a horizontal manner, wherein the frame 1 is installed with a chamber 3 is stored with multiple fruits is installed at a height from the frame 1 and connected with the frame 1 via a conduit 7.

[0023] A motorized gate 6 is constructed with the chamber 3 that is directed by a linked microcontroller to open up for allowing dispensing of the fruits from the chamber 3 towards inlet 4 crafted on the frame 1 via the conduit 7. Then, the fruits pass on the rods 2 in view of being segregated based size of the fruits.

[0024] An artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 5 is integrated with a processor is installed on the frame 1 for capturing and processing multiple images of each of the fruits being dispensed from the chamber 3. The imaging capturing module 5 comprises of a processor and a camera, which upon actuation captures multiple images of the fruits. The camera comprises of a lens and a digital sensor, where the lens takes all the reflected light rays rebounding from the surrounding, together all light rays rebound back and meet on a digital sensor that is capable to extract the images. The extracted images of the surrounding the surface are processed by the processor and this processed data is sent to an inbuilt microcontroller. The microcontroller upon receiving and processing the images signal, for capturing and processing multiple images of each of the fruits being dispensed from the chamber 3.

[0025] Then, each of the rods 2 are laid with a motorized slider 8 is mounted with bars that forms are slid over the slider 8 to form gaps of various size in view of allowing dispensing of the fruits through respective gaps formed based on determined size of the fruits. The motorized slider 8 herein discloses consists of a rail unit that provides a guided path for linear movement. The rail unit usually includes a pair of parallel rails or tracks, along which the slider 8 moves. The slider 8 carriage, also called a stage or platform equipped with a mechanism to minimize friction and ensure smooth motion. This involves the use of ball bearings. The slider 8 incorporates a motor and a drive mechanism to generate linear motion. The motor is connected to a drive mechanism, such as a belt, lead screw, or ball screw. The drive mechanism converts the rotational motion of the motor into linear motion, propelling the slider 8 carriage along the rail unit to for allowing the dispensing of the fruits through respective gaps formed based on determined size of the fruits.

[0026] Plurality of compartments 6 are installed beneath the gaps inside the frame 1 to collect equivalent sized fruits and segregate the fruits based on size in view of attaining proper sorting of the fruits. Then, one of the rods 2 is configured with electromagnet 10 that allows attachment of the plates are configured on the other slider 8 to form the gaps in view of allowing proper dispensing of the fruits through the formed gaps. The electromagnet 10 is a specialized type of magnet in which the magnetic field is produced by an electric current wherein the electromagnet 10 consists of wire wound into a coil. When the current is passed through the wire, it creates a magnetic field which is concentrated in the hole in the center of the coil thus energizing the electromagnet 10 that allows attachment of the plates configured on the other slider 8 to form the gaps in view of allowing proper dispensing of the fruits through the formed gaps.

[0027] Lastly, a battery is associated with the device to offer power to all electrical and electronic components necessary for their correct operation. The battery is linked to the microcontroller and provides (DC) Direct Current to the microcontroller. And then, based on the order of operations, the microcontroller sends that current to those specific electrical or electronic components so they effectively carry out their appropriate functions.

[0028] The present invention works best in the following manner, where the frame 1 is installed with the pair of rods 2 mapped parallelly in the horizontal manner, wherein the frame 1 is installed with the chamber 3 is stored with multiple fruits is installed at the height from the frame 1 and connected with the frame 1 via the conduit 7. The motorized gate 6 is constructed with the chamber 3 that is directed by the linked microcontroller to open up for allowing dispensing of the fruits from the chamber 3 towards inlet 4 crafted on the frame 1 via the conduit 7. Then, the fruits pass on the rods 2 in view of being segregated based size of the fruits. The artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 5 is integrated with the processor is installed on the frame 1 for capturing and processing multiple images of each of the fruits being dispensed from the chamber 3. Then, each of the rods 2 are laid with the motorized slider 8 is mounted with bars that forms are slid over the slider 8 to form gaps of various size in view of allowing dispensing of the fruits through respective gaps formed based on determined size of the fruits. The plurality of compartments 6 are installed beneath the gaps inside the frame 1 to collect equivalent sized fruits and segregate the fruits based on size in view of attaining proper sorting of the fruits. Then, one of the rods 2 is configured with the electromagnet 10 s that allows attachment of the plates are configured on the other slider 8 to form the gaps in view of allowing proper dispensing of the fruits through the formed gaps.

[0029] Although the field of the invention has been described herein with limited reference to specific embodiments, this description is not meant to be construed in a limiting sense.
