FREQUENCY-DOMAIN RESOURCE CONFIGURATION METHOD AND APPARATUS

Abstract

Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a frequency-domain resource configuration method and apparatus. The method comprises: receiving first indication information, which is sent by a network device (201); and according to the first indication information, determining frequency-domain resources, which are occupied by a control resource set (CORESET), wherein a first frequency-domain resource among the frequency-domain resources, which are occupied by the CORESET, is beyond a bandwidth supported by a terminal device (202). A frequency-domain resource occupied by a CORESET of a terminal device is allowed to exceed a bandwidth supported by the terminal device, such that the terminal device can support a higher aggregation level to the greatest extent possible, thereby effectively improving the transmission performance of a downlink channel, enhancing the coverage of the downlink channel, improving the communication efficiency of a system, effectively reducing a waste of resources, and increasing the utilization rate of resources.
