Specification

Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of electronic voting technology and, in particular, to a FPGA-based voting system designed to improve the efficiency, security, and accuracy of the voting process through advanced hardware implementation and real-time data processing.
BACKGROUND

[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Traditional voting systems often rely on software-based solutions, which can be susceptible to hacking, software bugs, and other vulnerabilities. These syste , Claims:1. An FPGA-based voting system (100), the system (100) comprising:
a user interface configured to enable a voter to cast a vote;
an authentication module configured to validate the identity of the voter;
an FPGA-based processor communicatively coupled with the user interface , wherein the processor is configured to:
receive data from the user interface regarding cast votes,
store the data securely using cryptographic techniques,
process the data to compute the votes for each candidate, and
provide real-time results by evaluating the cast votes.

2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the user interface also enables the user to verify their vote before final submission.

3. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the authentication module employs multi-factor authentication methods including biometric verification and secure PIN entry.
