Abstract

The foldable and movable planar biaxial cruciform fixture (100) designed for cruciform specimens comprising of (1) upper and lower holders (200), (2) upper, lower, left and right specimen holders (300), left upper arm (400), right upper arm (500), left lower arm (600), and right lower arm (700). The foldable and movable planar biaxial cruciform fixture is made of ferrous alloy due to its high strength and is applicable for testing cruciform specimens in unipolar load testing machines.

3.A foldable and movable planar biaxial cruciform fixture (100) designed for cruciform specimens as claimed in claim 1, wherein the upper and lower holders (200) has a dimension of 85 mm length, 25 mm width, and 20 mm depth, with a screw of 15 mm long and a nut;
4.A foldable and movable planar biaxial cruciform fixture (100) designed for cruciform specimens as claimed in claim 1, wherein upper, lower, left and right specimen holders (300), consists of two bocks each of 52 mm long, 15 mm wide and 10 mm dept, with one block consisting of two screws of 31 mm long on one side, a threaded hole of 7 mm depth, and the other block consisting of matching threaded holes for the screws;
5.A foldable and movable planar biaxial cruciform fixture (100) designed for cruciform specimens as claimed in claim 1, wherein the left upper arm (400), has a dimension of 150 mm long, 25 mm wide and 5 mm thick, and hole of diameter 11 mm and a screw of radius 4.93 mm and 8 mm long;
6.A foldable and movable planar biaxial cruciform fixture (100) designed for cruciform specimens as claimed in claim 1, wherein the right upper arm (500), has a dimension of 150 mm long, 25 mm wide and maximum 5 mm thick, and hole of radius 5.5 mm and a screw of radius 4.93 mm and 8 mm long;
7.A foldable and movable planar biaxial cruciform fixture (100) designed for cruciform specimens as claimed in claim 1, wherein the left lower arm (600), has a dimension of 150 mm long, 25 mm wide and maximum 5 mm thick, and two holes of radius 5.5 mm;
8.A foldable and movable planar biaxial cruciform fixture (100) designed for cruciform specimens as claimed in claim 1, wherein the right lower arm (700), has a dimension of 150 mm long, 25 mm wide and maximum 5 mm thick, and two holes of radius 5.5 mm; and
9.A foldable and movable planar biaxial cruciform fixture (100) designed for cruciform specimens as claimed in claim 1, wherein (1) upper and lower holders (200), (2) upper, lower, left and right specimen holders (300), left upper arm (400), right upper arm (500), left lower arm (600), and right lower arm (700), is applicable for testing cruciform specimens in unipolar load testing machines.
