Abstract

ABSTRACT FAN DUSTING CLEANING KIT The present invention relates to a ceiling fan cleaning kit designed to efficiently remove dust and debris from ceiling fan blades without the need for ladders or stools. The kit includes an adjustable telescopic pole, allowing users to reach various ceiling heights, and a box-like cleaning assembly that fits at the top of the pole. Inside the cleaning head, dual-surface sponges are angled to clean both the upper, lower surfaces of the blades simultaneously. A built-in blower system directs air e to loosen dust, which is then wiped away by the sponges. The blower is battery-operated and controlled by a button near the handle. The entire kit is lightweight and an easier way, ensuring ease of use and effective cleaning. This invention addresses the challenges of traditional ceiling fan cleaning methods by providing a safer, more efficient solution that enhances the cleanliness and performance of ceiling fans. Fig 1

TECHNICAL FIELD
This invention relates to the field of cleaning and maintenance devices. A manual cleaning kit engineered for the efficient removal of dust and debris from ceiling fans. The invention is particularly focused on providing a user-friendly solution that simplifies the maintenance of ceiling fans, enhancing both safety and cleanliness within residential and commercial spaces. The cleaning kit incorporates mechanical and pneumatic components to facilitate the thorough cleaning of fan blades without the need for ladders or stools, addressing common challenges associated with ceiling fan maintenance.
BACKGROUND
Ceiling fans serve as essential fixtures in homes, offices, and various commercial establishments, offering ventilation and comfort. However, ensuring their cleanliness presents a challenge to overcome. Traditional cleaning methods often involve manual wiping with cloths resulting in incomplete dust removal and inefficiencies. Moreover, the task of cleaning ceiling fans can be hazardous, requiring individuals to climb ladders or stools to reach the ceiling fans, posing risks of falls and accidents, mainly that may happen at regular households.
Additionally, the accumulation of dust and debris on fan blades not only reduces the aesthetic look of the fanbut also pollutes indoor air quality. When left unnoticed of the dust, and may lead to respiratory issues and allergies, as airborne particles circulate within indoor spaces. Furthermore, the inconvenience associated with cleaning ceiling fans reduces regular maintenance, leading to further dust buildup and potential health problems.
To overcome these challenges, there is a growing demand for innovative solutions to streamline ceiling fan maintenance, enhanced efficiency, and ensure user safety and convenience. A comprehensive cleaning kit that integrates simple mechanism technologies and user-friendly features can make a huge impact on the cleaning process, making it more accessible and effective for homeowners and facility managers. By addressing key points such a solution has the potential to improve indoor air quality, enhance occupant comfort, and contribute to overall well-being in residential and commercial environments.
To face this issue our proposed ceiling fan maintenance kit aims to fill this gap in the market by providing a practical and efficient solution that simplifies cleaning processes, enhances safety, and promotes healthier indoor environments both in domestic household and commercial places.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The object of the invention is to provide a manual dust cleaning kit to clean the ceiling fans in an easier way. It is designed in a way that it is user friendly in functioning.
The other object of the invention is to provide a simpler equipment to do their daily households in a more efficient and easier way.
Yet another objective of the invention is to emphasize easy method of cleaning by reaching heights by standing itself, this eliminates the reason for occurring of accidents.
Yet another objective of the invention is to improve the indoor air quality that is free from debris and dust, and a person can clean without depending or asking help from others.
Yet another objective of the invention is to introduce a way to clean the sponge that is equipped in the kit with easily removable and replaceable sponges.
These and other objects and advantages of the present invention will become readily apparent from the following detailed description take in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
SUMMARY
The ceiling fan dust cleaning kit is a simple solution designed to simplify the task of cleaning ceiling fans, to overcome challenges commonly associated with traditional cleaning methods. This kit consists of a blower, replaceable sponges, with an adjustable telescopic rod which gives a more efficient way to avoid the usage of the ladders and chairs for the sake of cleaning. The cleaning assembly consists a rectangular box inside which blower is present that dislodges dust accumulated on the upper surface of the fan blade. The dust is then wiped away by two angled sponges, ensuring a complete clean with one movement. The lifting assembly which comprises the telescopic rod is adjustable in height which comfy us to reach the height without any risk, and also makes possibilities to adjust based on the users height and arm length.
One of the main features is that battery-powered blower that can be turned on or off with a switch placed conveniently near the handle. A regulator is linked with the blower to manage the speed of the blower based on the dust levels over the fan blades. This enables the kit to work at an optimum condition for both low and high levels of dust accumulation. Additionally, the sponges are removable and replaceable, enhancing the kit's reusability and ease of maintenance.
A potential future enhancement to the kit includes an angular adjustment mechanism for the blower. It can be designed in a way that can be controlled with a joystick on the handle. This enables the users to change the blower's angle, directing air precisely to reach different parts of the blade surface which also improves dust removal in a more efficient way.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
This invention enables an easier way for cleaning the ceiling fans without any risks and accidents which actually occurs in traditional methods of cleaning. The fan dust cleaning kit comprises of the cleaning assembly, lifting assembly and the holding assembly.
The upper cleaning assembly consists the rectangular box with front opening (7) and rear opening (6). The box consists of the blower (5) which is situated at the top of the box facing down so that the air flow makes contact with the upper portion of the blade of the ceiling fan. The sole purpose of the blower is to focus on the upper section of the blades of the fan. The positioning of the blower is near the mouth of the entering part of the kit. The upper sponge (4) and lower sponge (3) that involves in the actual cleaning process are placed at an angle to enhance the cleaning levels. The upper and lower sponge, the sponges used are detachable and replaceable, through a simple sliding mechanism.
The lifting assembly consists of the telescopic rod (2) at the top end is where the cleaning assembly is situated. And at the lower end is the holding assembly. The lifting assembly is capable of various height variations depending on the height of the room and the height of the user.
The holding assembly is the combinations of the handle (8), switch (1) and battery. The grip handles are provided in a sufficiently large for suiting of any hand sizes.
A 12-volt blower (5) is a compact and efficient blower that is used in the kit. The DC blower is connected with control switches and battery using connecting wires of required length. The positioning of the blower is near the mouth of the entering part of the kit. It is placed at an angle of 60 degrees to achieve a maximum usage of the air.
The telescopic rod (2) is a versatile tool widely used in various applications. The pole has multiple sections that slide into one another and are secured with twist locks, clamps to maintain the desired length. Common specifications include a fully extended length ranging from 6 to 30 feet and a collapsed length of around 2 to 6 feet, making it highly adaptable for different heights. The diameter of the pole generally varies from 1 to 2 inches, providing a good balance between strength and ease of handling. Telescopic poles are often equipped with ergonomic grips. This also paves the way to replace the pole if at all it is damaged.
A sponge [3][4] is a highly versatile and absorbent tool commonly used for cleaning and various household tasks The dimensions of a standard household sponge usually range from according to the kit size, providing a comfortable size for handling and maneuvering during cleaning tasks, materials like polyester or nylon to assist in scrubbing tougher stains. The sponges rest over the projections provided in the box of the kit. it is deigned in a way that they are easily removable by the user and also can be replaced with a new one or can be washed and reused.
A switch [1] is installed for on and off operation. It is used to operate the blower. The control switch is situated at the holding assembly near the grip handles. It is connected with wires that lead to blower at the kit situated at the top of the pole. The other end of the switch gives way to the rechargeable battery that gives the actual supply to the blower.
The battery preferably 6V or 12V. The rechargeable battery gives the supply to the blower when the control switch is turned on. The blower used is 12V so the battery equipped also must be of the same voltage.
A handle for grip is a crucial component designed to provide comfort, control, and stability in the telescopic pole. Typically made from durable materials such as rubber, plastic, or foam, these handles are engineered to fit ergonomically in the user's hand, reducing fatigue and enhancing precision during use. The handle usually features a textured surface or grooves to prevent slipping, ensuring a secure grip even in wet or oily conditions.
The working procedure of the kit and its way of using the described embodiments are to be stated as follows. The mouth of the upper box is given as a rectangle section suitable for a free movement of the blade thorough the kit. The mouth can also be designed according to the profile of the blade of the ceiling fan. The blower situated inside the box has an opening on the blade, that enters through the mouth. The kit is simpler in construction it has an adjustable stick which is scientifically termed telescopic rod. The rod is made up of either plastic or aluminum, so it is weight less for handling to the user. The telescopic rod in the at the bottom end of the rod, have a grip to the hand marked in the so that it is convenient for the user, and at the upper end of the rod is where a cuboidal or cubic shaped box is present where is actual cleaning process happens The upper cuboidal box shaped element has a blower on its upper part, which is supplied by a rechargeable battery and is controlled by a switch that is present at the grip of the handle.
The cleaning process is very simple. The kit is checked and is charged fully. The kit is inserted in the blade of the ceiling fan and is moved to the root of the blade. then the switch is turned on by the user that activates the blower. This results in destabilizing the dust accumulated on the blades. Now the kit is slowly moved through the end of the ceiling blade. during this time the dust that is being blown from the blade of the ceiling fan is collected by the sponge that is present at the upper side. The pressurized air from the blower hits the upper surface of the blade of the ceiling fan Which helps to destabilize the dust settled on the blades. The dust is then wiped off from the blades with the help of the sponge that is being installed there. The upper sponge is given with a wavy surface so the clearing efficiency is a bit higher it can also be used as flat sponge surfaces. The lower sponge is in the it is used to clean the lower surface of the blades of the ceiling fan. The blower, battery and the switches are connected through wires.
The sponge at the lower side is also playing its role of wiping of the dust from the lower surface of the blade of the ceiling fan. Now as the kit reaches the end of the blade the switch is turned off by the user. As the one of the blades of the ceiling is cleaned, now the kit is moved to the other blades in order to complete the cleaning process. The height of the rod is adjusted as per the height of the ceiling fan. After the work with the kit is over the kit is charged for further use.
Further improvements on the kit can also be achieved by using a control joystick to adjust the speed of the blower to make sure to use proper energy consumption according to the dust accumulated on the blades of the blades of the fan. This can be achieved by installing a regulator to control the speed of the blower. More advanced technologies such as angular mechanism can also be equipped to also adjust the direction of flow of air by tilting the initial position of the blower, in the way the opening must also be wide enough equipped with nozzles to attain a good efficient duty. The mouth also can be modified according to the profile of the fan blades. The size of the kit must also be provided with good clearances so that the fan blades are not damaged while the cleaning processes.
The kit is designed in a way so that it can be easily handled and make the cleaning process much easier. It is obvious that there is another attachment to vacuum cleaners that can be equipped to clean the ceiling fans. But it is also known that the vacuum cleaners are not available at all households as many of the families are economically weak in our country of India. So, we have made an invention of an affordable product so all families even at the weaker section of India could use our idea.

WE CLAIM,
1. A fan dust cleaning kit for easier way to clean the ceiling fan, Comprising:
A rectangular box with front opening (7) and rear opening (6) where in box is situated at the top of the lifting assembly wherein the upper cleaning assembly consists of the blower (5), upper sponge (4) and lower sponge (3) that involves in the actual cleaning process;
A blower (5) tends to loosen up the dust accumulated over the blades of the ceiling fan which paves an easier way to clean the dust for the sponges. It is operated by the power from the battery and switch (1) mechanism connected through wires. The speed of the blower can also be controlled with a regulator;
An upper and lower sponge (4)(3), the sponges used are detachable and replaceable, through a simple sliding mechanism inside the rectangular section,
wherein they are fixed at an angled position;
A telescopic rod (2) of the required size, at the top of which the cleaning assembly is fixed. At the bottom of the telescopic rod is the holding assembly where the battery is also kept;
A rubber handle (8) is present at the lower end of the telescopic rod providing a strong hold over the kit, it is provided with necessary area for easy holding; and,
A switch (1) which is situated near the handle is connected with the blower through wires and is used to turn on and off the blower by controlling the flow of electricity from battery.
2. The fan dust cleaning kit for easier way of cleaning ceiling fans as claimed in claim 1, where in the cleaning assembly the blower is used to loosen up the dust which is not actually used in traditional cleaning equipment.
3. The fan dust cleaning kit for easier way of cleaning ceiling fans as claimed in claim 1, where in the holding assembly a regulator is used to control the blower speed according to the amount of dust accumulated.
4. The fan dust cleaning kit for easier way of cleaning ceiling fans as claimed in claim 1, where in we can add further improvements to alter the angle of the blower through angular mechanisms.
