EXTERNAL IP INTERFACE MANAGEMENT IN 5GS IP ROUTER NODE

Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to external IP interface management in an IP router node. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a device transmits, to a first core network element, an indication regarding a device-side IP interface of an IP router node. Then the device receives, from the first core network element or a second core network element, IP address information for the device-side IP interface. In this way, external IP interface at device-side is achieved.
