ELECTROLYTE SUPPLY SYSTEM AND SECONDARY BATTERY USING SAME

Abstract

An electrolyte supply system has been desired that can always supply an electrolyte, which has a risk of catching fire if contacting oxygen, to a use point in a large-scale battery manufacturing plant and also facilitates a lot management. This electrolyte supply system supplies an electrolyte to a use point and has: a receiving reservoir that reserves the carried electrolyte; a supply reservoir into which the electrolyte is carried from the receiving reservoir; a temperature control device that controls the temperature of the electrolyte in the receiving reservoir and the supply reservoir; and supply piping that is laid from the supply reservoir to the use point. The electrolyte supply system has a high level of safety because the reservoirs are disposed outdoors and can supply the electrolyte to the use point for 24 hours even with hardly a temperature control in the supply reservoir because temperature control processing is performed in the receiving reservoir before the electrolyte is carried to the supply reservoir.
