Abstract
BioTwine represents a significant advancement in twine manufacturing by utilizing sustainable fibers derived from areca nut husks, a valuable byproduct of the areca palm industry. Unlike conventional synthetic and natural twines, BioTwine serves as an eco-friendly alternative that offers impressive strength and durability, ensuring reliable performance across various conditions, from gardening to agriculture and plantation activities. Its exceptional resistance to moisture and UV exposure is highlighted in the production process illustrated in Figures 1 through 6. This low-impact manufacturing method minimizes environmental harm while significantly reducing waste by repurposing areca nut husks, addressing agricultural waste and showcasing the potential of these lightweight yet robust fibers. Furthermore, BioTwine promotes sustainability by creating a market for areca husks, supporting local economies, and encouraging farmers to utilize what was once deemed waste. Ultimately, BioTwine exemplifies responsible resource utilization, aligning with the principles of sustainability and environmental stewardship. It stands out as an attractive choice for eco-conscious consumers seeking informed decisions about their products, demonstrating the viability of environmentally friendly alternatives in everyday applications while providing enhanced tensile strength and durability, along with moisture and UV resistance as a compelling alternative to synthetic twine.

Specification
Description:This invention relates to field of sustainable materials and biodegradable products
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
BioTwine represents a significant advancement in the field of sustainable materials, innovatively harnessing fibers from areca nut husks-an often-overlooked byproduct of the areca palm industry. Traditional twines, which frequently rely on synthetic materials or less sustainable natural fibers, contribute to environmental degradation and waste, making BioTwine an eco-friendly alternative that stands out. It is engineered to offer enhanced tensile strength and remarkable durability, along with exceptional resistance to moisture and UV degradation, making it ideal for a wide range of applications, from gardening to agriculture and plantation activities. The production process is designed to be low-impact, significantly reducing the ecological footprint associated with twine manufacturing. By repurposing areca nut husks, BioTwine not only addresses agricultural waste but also promotes a circular economy, providing farmers with a new revenue stream from what was once considered refuse. This innovative approach supports local economies and encourages sustainable practices within the agricultural community. Furthermore, BioTwine aligns perfectly with the growing consumer demand for environmentally responsible products, appealing to eco-conscious individuals and businesses alike. Ultimately, BioTwine exemplifies the potential of sustainable innovation, demonstrating that it is possible to create high-performance, environmentally friendly alternatives that contribute positively to both the economy and the planet.
, Claims:Claim 1: An eco-friendly biodegradable twine comprising: (a) Areca nut husks as a primary fibrous material and (b) A coating of heated bee wax on the surface of said husks.
Claim 2: A process for manufacturing the biodegradable twine as claimed in claim 1, comprising: (a) Collecting areca nut husks, (b) Processing said husks to obtain fibrous strands and making twine, (c) Foam a coated twine by applying heated bee wax to twisted twine.
Claim 3: The biodegradable twine as claimed in claim 1, wherein the areca nut husks are processed to form fibrous strands with a diameter ranging from 0.5 mm to 3 mm.
Claim 4: The biodegradable twine as claimed in claim 1, wherein the heated bee wax is applied at a temperature of 60°C to 90°C, providing enhanced adhesion and water resistance.
Claim 5: The biodegradable twine as claimed in claim 1, suitable for use in gardening, agricultural binding, and decorative crafts, thereby promoting sustainable practices.
Claim 6: The biodegradable twine as claimed in claim 1, which decomposes naturally within 6 to 12 months when exposed to environmental conditions, contributing to eco-friendliness.
Claim 7: The biodegradable twine as claimed in claim 1, wherein the twine is free from synthetic additives and comprises 100% natural materials.
