FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention relates to the field of bakery equipment and more particularly
relates to a dual-decked cake stacking tray designed to retain the warmth of freshly
baked cakes for an extended period.
10 DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART
Bakeries use plastic trays to store and transport cakes after they are removed from
the oven. But these trays do not have any insulating properties, leading to the ~:;akes
losing their warmth quickly and affecting their taste when served. This rapid cooling
15 can diminish the quality and appeal of the baked goods.
The present invention aims to overcome this limitation by designing a dual-decked
cake stacking tray with an aluminum foil inner·lining. This design provides a structured
way to store and transport cakes and also retains their warmth for a longer period. The
tray features a plastic outer and inner tray, with the inner tray being adjustable to
20 accommodate different cake sizes. A sliding mechanism and lock ensure the inner
tray can be securely positioned at the desired height. And handles on the top of the
tray facilitate easy lifting and carrying. The aluminum foil lining within the walls of both
decks helps maintain the temperature of the cakes, ensuring they stay warm and
delicious for an extended time.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention presents· a dual-decked cake stacking tray designed to maintain the
warmth of freshly baked cakes for an extended period. The tray features a plastic outer

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE DRAWING
1. PLASTIC OUTER TRAY
The external structure of the tray that provides the overall form: stability, and
protection. It is made of plastic for durability and easy cleaning.
2. PLASTIC INNER TRAY
A separate tray that fits inside the outer tray and is designed to hold the baked
cakes directly. It is also made of plastic for similar reasons as the outer tray.
3. SLIDING INNER DECK
A movable platform within the inner tray that can be raised or lowered to
accommodate cakes of various sizes. This adjustability ensures the tray can
handle different types of baked goods.
4. SLIDING LOCK
A mechanism that secures the sliding inner deck in place once the desired
height is set. This lock ensures the deck remains stable during storage and
transport.


5. HANDLE
A gripping feature located on the top sides of the tray, allowing users to lift and

iii. a sliding inner deck (3) within the inner tray, adjustable to accommodate
various sizes of cakes;
iv. a sliding lock (4) to secure the inner deck at a desired height;
v. handles (5) on the top sides of the tray for easy lifting and carrying; and
vi. an aluminum foil lining (6) along the inner walls of both the outer and
inner trays to retain the warmth of the cakes
