Specification

Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to automated irrigation systems, specifically to a smart drip-based irrigation system that leverages IoT technology to optimize water usage and enhance crop yield in agriculture.
BACKGROUND

[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Traditional irrigation practices often involve manual labour and can lead to either under- or over-watering, resulting in poor crop yield and unnecessary water wastage. Recent advancements in IoT technology have facilitated , Claims:WE CLAIM:
1. A drip-based smart irrigation system (100), comprising:
a soil moisture sensor (102) for detecting soil moisture levels;
a temperature and humidity sensor (104) for monitoring environmental conditions;
a microcontroller (106) connected to the sensors and configured to activate a water pump when the soil moisture level is below a defined threshold;
a drip irrigation module (108) connected to the water pump for controlled water distribution to plants.

2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the microcontroller (106) is configured to deactivate the water pump when the soil moisture level is above the defined threshold, conserving water.

3. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a user interface connected to the microcontroller, enabling remote monitoring and control of the drip irrigation module (108), including threshold adjustments and manual activation of the water pump.

4. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the microcontroller transmits real-time en
