DEVELOPMENT OF MOBILE MANUPULATOR FOR KITCHEN ASSISTANCE

Abstract

The mobile manipulator follows a black line marked on the floor from kitchen to dining hall and vice versa. The manipulator is fitted a camera. The family member controls the movement of the manipulator using their mobile phone. If the family member switch on the power supply of the robot, the robot scans the vessel with food. The fingers of the two end effectors approaches the vessel and pick the vessel, hold the vessel until it reaches the dining table. Once it reached the dining table, the manipulator keeps the vessel in the table. Once the family members completed the eating of food, the family activates the manipulator, the manipulator picks the empty vessels, follows the line marked on the floor, reaches the kitchen and places the empty vessel for cleaning. This cyclic process will be continued.

Specification

in olden days, the husband of a family use to go to job to earn money and wife takes care of family. In present days, both husband and wife are going to job in order to meet out their financial requirement of the family. In this situation, it is difficult for them to spent time to prepare food. Then making of food is a tedious job. It forces the family to take from outside. Taking food regularly outside is not
good to their health.
In this scenario, the health assistance robot will robot will diem, if the family members try to prepare food. This device save time for the family and it will very useful when they return form job and feeling tired.
If the financial situation of the family members does not take continuously outside and both husband and wife are about to continue their jobs and plan to cook, naturally big fight happen between husband and wife. This research will help the family member to avoid fight due to kitchen activity.
