Specification

Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to a detection system and in particular relates to a dermal abnormality detection system for detecting fungal and bacterial infections on dermal sites.
BACKGROUND

[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Efficient and accurate detection of dermal abnormalities is crucial in modern dermatology for the early diagnosis and management of skin infections or disorders. Conventional methods for detecting skin abnormalities often require in-person consultatio , Claims:1. A dermal abnormality detection system (100), comprising:
an image capturing module (102) for capturing one or more images of an abnormality on a dermal site;
an adaptive image classification module (104) communicatively coupled with image capturing module (102) for classifying the one or more images as an infected dermal site or a non-infected dermal site;
at least one processor (106) communicatively coupled to the adaptive image classification module (104), wherein the at least one processor (106) is configured to analyse the infected dermal site or a non-infected dermal site and determine one or more remedies for the infected dermal site; and
a user interface (108) communicatively coupled with the at least one processor (106), wherein the user interface (108) is configured to display the one or more remedies for treating the infected dermal site.

2. The dermal abnormality detection system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the abnormality includes a fungal infection, a bacterial infection or alike.
