[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of voting systems and, in particular, to a decentralized voting system utilizing blockchain technology.

In democratic processes, the integrity of voting is paramount, yet centralized systems often create vulnerabilities due , Claims:1. A decentralized voting system (100), comprising:
a blockchain network configured to record and verify voting transactions;
a voter authentication module integrated with the blockchain to verify voter identity through unique identifiers;
a digital ballot generation module for creating tamper-proof ballots for each eligible voter;
a smart contract system within the blockchain network, configured to:
record each cast vote as a transaction on the blockchain;
ensure immutability and transparency of each recorded vote;
tally votes automatically without centralized oversight; and
a results verification module to provide accessible, real-time vote counts and final results directly from the blockchain, ensuring public auditability.

2. The decentralized voting system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the voter authentication module uses biometric data for security.
