COMMUNICATION METHOD AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS

Abstract

Provided in the present application are a communication method and a communication apparatus. The method comprises: a policy control function network element receiving information of a first time window and information of a first parameter, the first time window being a time window for data transmission of a first service configured by an application function network element, the first parameter comprising parameters of data transmission of the first service within the first time window, and the first parameter comprising at least one of packet delay budget, packet error rate, packet loss rate, bit rate and guarantee bit rate; the policy control function network element sending information of M policies of the first service, the information of each policy comprising information of N time windows, M and N being positive integers, the information of each policy being determined on the basis of the information of the first time window and the information of the first parameter, and the N time windows comprised in one policy among the M policies of the first service being used for sending or receiving the data of the first service. The present application can efficiently screen out time windows that meet the data transmission requirement of a service better.
