COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS BASED ON PHYSICAL LAYER PROTOCOL DATA UNIT

Abstract

A communication method and apparatus based on a PPDU. The present application is applied to a wireless local area network system which supports IEEE 802.11ax next-generation Wi-Fi protocols such as 802.11be, Wi-Fi 7 or EHT, and 802.11 series protocols such as 802.11be next generation and Wi-Fi 8; and can also be applied to UWB-based wireless personal area network systems, sensing systems, etc. The method comprises: a sending end generating a PPDU and sending the PPDU; and correspondingly, a receiving end receiving the PPDU and processing the PPDU. The PPDU may comprise an L-STF, an L-LTF, an L-SIG field and a first STF, wherein the first STF is obtained on the basis of a second STF and a first sequence, and the duration of the first STF is greater than the duration of the L-STF. The transmission distance of a PPDU can be effectively increased.
