Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a clip-on writing instrument carrying device that is capable providing a means to carry a clip-on writing instrument in a pocket of a trouser worn by a user and accordingly avoid falling of the instrument from the pocket while the user moves to different places thereby aid to secure the instrument with the pocket without any requirement manual precaution required by the user.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] Carrying writing instruments in pockets or bags can be inconvenient, as they may become lost, misplaced, or difficult to retrieve when needed. A clip-on carrying tool offers a hands-free solution, allowing users to attach their writing utensil to clothing, notebooks, or other items for easy access. Traditional writing instrument carrying tools have been around for many years and have evolved to meet the needs of users seeking convenient ways to carry pens and pencils. Simple metal or plastic clips designed to attach to the edge of a pocket, notebook, or clothing.
[0003] Although the traditional method of carrying a clip-on writing instrument in a pocket of a trouser has proven effective to some extent, but it comes with inherent limitations. They may not be compatible with all types and sizes of pens or pencils. Variations in diameter, shape, and clip design may restrict the range of writing instruments that can be securely attached. Thus, there is a need to develop an innovative tool that provide a consistent way of carrying a clip-on writing instrument in a pocket where traditional methods may fall short and to meet the evolving demands of modern requirements.

The body also has means for securing it to a user, or to an accessory or garment worn by the the user. The cavity is preferably frusto-conical, tapering towards the inside of the body.
[0006] Conventionally, many devices exist that are capable of writing instrument carrying however these devices fail in avoid falling of the instrument from the pocket while the user moves to different places thereby aid to secure the instrument with the pocket without any requirement of physical efforts in an automatic manner.
[0007] In order to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks, there exists a need in the art to develop a device that is capable of carrying a clip-on writing instrument in a pocket of a trouser worn by a user and accordingly avoid falling of the instrument from the pocket while the user moves to different places thereby aid to secure the instrument with the pocket without any requirement of manual efforts.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
[0008] The principal object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art.
[0009] An object of the present invention is to develop a device that is capable in carrying a clip-on writing instrument in a pocket of a trouser worn by a user and accordingly avoid falling of the instrument from the pocket while the user moves to different places thereby aid to secure the instrument with the pocket without any requirement of physical efforts.
[0010] Another object of the present invention is to develop a device that is capable of determining dimension of the instrument in order to hold the instrument in order to avoid loosening out of the instrument.
[0011] Yet another object of the present invention is to develop a device that is reliable in nature.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0013] The present invention relates to a clip-on writing instrument carrying device that is capable providing a means to carry a clip-on writing instrument in a pocket of a trouser worn by a user and accordingly avoid falling of the instrument from the pocket while the user moves to different places thereby aid to secure the instrument with the pocket without any requirement manual precaution required by the user.
[0014] According to an embodiment of the present invention, a clip-on writing instrument carrying device comprising, a L-shaped plate developed to be inserted within a pocket of a trouser worn by a user, wherein the plate is configured with a depth sensor for determining depth of the pocket and a microcontroller linked with the depth sensor processes the determined depth and based on the processed depth, directs multiple plates arranged in an overlapped manner via motorized hinges to deploy for going deep inside the pocket to avoid falling down of the plate while the user moves to different places, a motorized slider laid vertically on the plate, wherein a telescopically operated rod is mounted on the slider that translates on the slider to get exposed out of the pocket, wherein the microcontroller directs the rod to extend a spring arrangement configured with the rod to a distance away from the pocket, an artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module integrated with a processor for capturing and processing multiple images of a writing instrument that needs to be clipped on by the device in view of determining dimension of the instrument, wherein the microcontroller linked with the module, based on the determined dimension, directs a C-shaped clamp integrated at a tip portion of the arrangement for holding onto the instrument.
[0015] According to another embodiment of the present invention, further comprises, plurality of electromagnets mapped on the spring that are selectively energized and de-energized by the microcontroller controlling flow of current in view of expanding and compressing the arrangement as per requirement of the user, wherein in case the user is in a rest state, then the microcontroller activates the electromagnets in a manner that the arrangement is kept in an expanded state and if the user is determined to be in a running state via the image capturing module, then the microcontroller selectively energies/de-energizes the electromagnets to keep the arrangement in a contracted state to avoid loosening out of the instrument from the C-shaped clamp, wherein the C-shaped clamp includes multiple panels overlapped in a manner via motorized hinges and based on the determine dimension of the instrument, the hinges to deploy the panels to expand diameter of the clamp to accommodate any sized instrument, wherein a battery is associated with the device that powers all electrical and electronically operated components of the device.

[0022] Referring to Figure 1, an isometric view of a clip-on writing instrument carrying device is illustrated, comprising a L-shaped plate 1 installed with multiple plates arranged in an overlapped manner via motorized hinges, a motorized slider 3 laid vertically on the plate 1, a telescopically operated rod 4, a spring arrangement 5 configured with the rod 4, an artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 2 installed with the plate 1, and a C-shaped clamp 6 integrated at a tip portion of the arrangement 5.
[0023] The proposed device comprises of an L-shaped plate 1 developed to be inserted within a pocket of a trouser worn by a user. Herein, the plate 1 is configured with a depth sensor for detecting depth of the pocket. The depth sensor works by emitting infrared light onto a surface and measuring the time it takes for the light to reflect back to the sensor. This data is then used to calculate the distance between the sensor and the pocket, providing accurate depth of the pocket. Based on detection, the microcontroller directs multiple plates arranged in an overlapped manner via motorized hinges to deploy for going deep inside the pocket to avoid falling down of the plate 1 while the user moves to different places.
[0024] The hinge typically refers to to a mechanical joint that allows rotational movement around a fixed axis using a motor or actuator which provides the rotational force required to move the hinge. The motor is typically controlled by an electronic control unit that regulates its speed and direction. The hinge consists of a hinge mechanism that enables rotation around a fixed axis. It usually consists of two parts: a stationary component and a moving component. The stationary component is securely attached to one part of the plates, while the moving component is connected to the other part that needs to rotate the plates for deploying the plates for going deep inside the pocket to avoid falling down of the plate 1 while the user moves to different places.
[0025] Further, a telescopically operated rod 4 is mounted on a motorized slider 3 laid vertically on the plate 1 to extend a spring arrangement 5 configured with the rod 4 to a distance away from the pocket. The rod 4 is equipped with a pneumatic unit that is activated by the microcontroller to provide extension and retraction of the rod 4. The pneumatic unit comprises of an air compressor, air cylinder, air valves and piston. The air valve that allows entry or exit of the compressed air from the compressor. Furthermore, the valve opens and the compressed air enters inside the cylinder thereby increasing the air pressure of the cylinder. The piston is connected to the cylinder and due to the increase in the air pressure, the piston extends due to which the rod 4 extends the spring arrangement 5 c to a distance away from the pocket. Herein, the slider 3 consists of a rail unit that provides a guided path for linear movement. The rail unit usually includes a pair of parallel rails or tracks, along which the slider 3 moves. The slider carriage, also called a stage or platform equipped with a mechanism to minimize friction and ensure smooth motion. This involves the use of ball bearings. The slider 3 incorporates a motor and a drive mechanism to generate linear motion. The motor is connected to a drive mechanism, such as a belt, lead screw, or ball screw. The drive mechanism converts the rotational motion of the motor into linear motion, propelling the slider carriage along the rail unit to translate to expose out of the pocket.
[0026] An artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 2 installed on the plate 1 for detecting dimension of a writing instrument. The capturing module 2 comprises of a camera and processor that works in collaboration to detect the dimension of the instrument. The AI (artificial intelligence) protocols encrypted with the processor linked with the capturing module 2 to enhance its functionality and capabilities. The AI protocols are used to process and analyses the images captured by the camera enabling it to perform various tasks beyond traditional image capturing. The AI analysis is performed locally on the camera itself and the real-time processing on the camera enables immediate responses and faster decision-making.
[0027] The camera, herein captures images of the writing instrument with the help of specialized lenses designed to capture high-quality visuals. The captured data is now pre-processed via the processor to enhance its quality and prepare it for AI analysis. This pre-processing involves tasks such as noise reduction, image stabilization, or color correction. The processed data is fed into AI protocols for analysis which utilizes machine learning techniques, such as deep learning neural networks, to extract meaningful information present in the images.
[0028] The camera is capable of analysing the instrument and providing real-time updates or alerts about the instrument based on predefined rules or criteria. Herein, based on extraction of the data from the captured images, the microcontroller analyzes the data to detect the dimension of the instrument. After that the microcontroller actuates a C-shaped clamp 6 integrated at a tip portion of the arrangement 5 for holding onto the instrument. The C-shaped clamp 6 includes multiple panels overlapped in a manner via motorized hinges that are activated by the microcontroller to provide back and forth movement to the panels to deploy the panels to expand diameter of the clamp 6 to accommodate any sized instrument.
[0029] Further, multiple electromagnets are integrated on the spring that are selectively energized and de-energized by the microcontroller for controlling flow of current in view of expanding and compressing the arrangement 5 as per requirement of the user. The electromagnets comprise of a conducting coil, when the electric current is passed across the coil that result in generation of the magnetic field around the coil and that results in the generation of the magnetic force due to which the electromagnets get energized. When the current release, the electromagnets get de-energized. The energization and de-energization of the electromagnets aid in controlling flow of current in view of expanding and compressing the arrangement 5 as per requirement of the user. Further, in case the user is in a rest state, then the microcontroller activates the electromagnets in a manner that the arrangement 5 is kept in an expanded state and if the user is determined to be in a running state via the image capturing module 2, then the microcontroller selectively energies/de-energizes the electromagnets to keep the arrangement 5 in a contracted state to avoid loosening out of the instrument from the C-shaped clamp 6.
[0030] Lastly, a battery (not shown in figure) is associated with the device to offer power to all electrical and electronic components necessary for their correct operation. The battery is linked to the microcontroller and provides (DC) Direct Current to the microcontroller. And then, based on the order of operations, the microcontroller sends that current to those specific electrical or electronic components so they effectively carry out their appropriate functions.
[0031] The present invention works best in following manner that includes the L-shaped plate 1 developed to be inserted within a pocket of a trouser worn by a user having the plate 1 configured with the depth sensor for determining depth of the pocket and the microcontroller linked with the depth sensor processes the determined depth and based on the processed depth, directs multiple plates via motorized hinges to deploy for going deep inside the pocket to avoid falling down of the plate 1 while the user moves to different places. Further, the telescopically operated rod 4 is mounted on the slider 3 that translates on the slider 3 to get exposed out of the pocket. After that the microcontroller directs the rod 4 to extend a spring arrangement 5 configured with the rod 4 to a distance away from the pocket. Also, the artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 2 detects dimension of the instrument, and the microcontroller linked with the module 2, based on the determined dimension, directs a C-shaped clamp 6 integrated at a tip portion of the arrangement 5 for holding onto the instrument. Further, in case the user is in a rest state, then the microcontroller activates the electromagnets in a manner that the arrangement 5 is kept in an expanded state and if the user is determined to be in a running state via the image capturing module 2, then the microcontroller selectively energies/de-energizes the electromagnets to keep the arrangement 5 in a contracted state to avoid loosening out of the instrument from the C-shaped clamp 6.

Various modifications of the disclosed embodiments, as well as alternate embodiments of the invention, will become apparent to persons skilled in the art upon reference to the description of the invention. , Claims:1) A clip-on writing instrument carrying device, comprising:
i) a L-shaped plate 1 developed to be inserted within a pocket of a trouser worn by a user, wherein said plate 1 is configured with a depth sensor for determining depth of said pocket and a microcontroller linked with said depth sensor processes said determined depth and based on said processed depth, directs multiple plates arranged in an overlapped manner via motorized hinges to deploy for going deep inside said pocket to avoid falling down of said plate 1 while said user moves to different places;
ii) a motorized slider 3 laid vertically on said plate 1, wherein a telescopically operated rod 4 is mounted on said slider 3 that translates on said slider 3 to get exposed out of said pocket, wherein said microcontroller directs said rod 4 to extend a spring arrangement 5 configured with said rod 4 to a distance away from said pocket;
iii) an artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 2 integrated with a processor for capturing and processing multiple images of a writing instrument that needs to be clipped on by said device in view of determining dimension of said instrument, wherein said microcontroller linked with said module 2, based on said determined dimension, directs a C-shaped clamp 6 integrated at a tip portion of said arrangement 5 for holding onto said instrument; and
iv) plurality of electromagnets mapped on said spring that are selectively energized and de-energized by said microcontroller controlling flow of current in view of expanding and compressing said arrangement 5 as per requirement of said user, wherein in case said user is in a rest state, then said microcontroller activates said electromagnets in a manner that said arrangement 5 is kept in an expanded state and if said user is determined to be in a running state via said image capturing module 2, then said microcontroller selectively energies/de-energizes said electromagnets to keep said arrangement 5 in a contracted state to avoid loosening out of said instrument from said C-shaped clamp 6.
2) The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said C-shaped clamp 6 includes multiple panels overlapped in a manner via motorized hinges and based on said determine dimension of said instrument, said microcontroller directs said hinges to deploy said panels to expand diameter of said clamp 6 to accommodate any sized instrument.
3) The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein a battery is associated with said device that powers all electrical and electronically operated components of said device.
