Specification

FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention relates to the field of ceramic membrane filter manufacturing
and more particularly relates to an extrusion supporting trolley with an adjustable
conveyor bed designed to maintain the straightness and quality of extruded ceramic
membrane filters during the extrusion process.
DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART
In the existing ceramic membrane filter extrusion process, the extruded product
emerges from the extruder in a wet and lengthy form. As it is conveyed on a standard
15 conveyor belt, which is only supported at the two ends by drive and driven rollers, the
wet condition of the product causes it to bend and sag between the rollers. This lack
of support leads to deformation and compromises the straightness and overall quality
of the final product.
The present invention solves this problem by implementing a supporting trolley with
20 an adjustable conveyor bed designed to maintain the straightness of the extruded
product. A set of supporting rollers is fixed under the conveyor belt, providing additional
support along the length of the conveyor bed. This prevents the wet extruded product
from bending and sagging due to its own weight. The conveyor bed's height can be
adjusted using dual linear actuators, while its length cail be extended with cross linear
25 · actuators. This adaptability accommodates different product lengths and extrusion
heights. The conveyor belt can be expanded using a secondary set of drive rollers and
an extel)ded pulley. When the conveyor bed is extended, the second set of drive rollers
is engaged to ensure the belt remains tight and functional.
30 BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is a ceramic membrane filter extrusion supporting trolley
designed to maintain the straightness of the extruded product, which tends to bend
due to its wet condition when exiting the extruder. The trolley features a height and length adjustable conveyor bed equipped with supporting rollers underneath to
prevent sagging. The trolley is mounted on a movable base, allowing it to be positioned
near the extruder outlet. Dual linear actuators enable height adjustment, while cross
linear actuators extend the conveyor bed's length. The conveyor system comprises a
5 drive roller powered by a motor, a driven roller, and an endless belt linking them, with
an idler wheel in between. To accommodate the extended length, a second set of drive
rollers and an extended pulley are employed, connected via a belt to transfer drive
from the first set of rollers. This setup ensures the conveyor belt runs smoothly in both
normal and extended conditions, providing adequate support for the extruded ceramic
10 membrane filter as it exits the extruder.

30 DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The ceramic membrane filter extrusion supporting trolley with height and length
adjustable conveyor bed comprises a movable base (1) that allows for easy positioning
near the extruder outlet. The conveyor bed (2) is mounted on this base, providing a platform for the extruded
product to be transported.
The conveyor bed (2) is equipped with a drive roller (3) at one end, connected to a
drive motor (13) via a drive shaft (14), which initiates the motion of the conveyor.
5 At the opposite end, a driven roller (4) is positioned, which passively rotates and
supports the endless belt (5) that loops around both rollers.
An idler wheel (6) is positioned between the drive and driven rollers to provide
additional support and tension to the endless belt (5).
To solve the issue of the extruded product bending and sagging due to its wet
10 condition, a set of supporting rollers (12) is fixed under the conveyor belt.
15
These rollers (12) are height-adjustable and provide the necessary support to maintain
the straightness of the product as it is conveyed.
The height of the conveyor bed (2) can be adjusted using dual linear actuators (7)
positioned at both ends, ensuring that the bed can be aligned with the extruder outlet.
The length of the conveyor bed (2) can be extended using cross linear actuators (8)
positioned along its width.
When the conveyor bed (2) is extended, a second set of drive rollers (9) is engaged
to support the endless belt (5) and maintain its smooth rotation.
An extended pulley (1 0) is fixed over the first driven shaft and the second set of driven
20 rollers, transferring the drive force from the first set of rollers to the second set via a
connecting belt (11). This ensures that the conveyor belt operates effectively in both
normal and extended positions.
All components of the trolley are housed and supported by a sturdy frame (1.5),
providing structural integrity and stability.
25 The frame (15) is designed to accommodate the adjustments made using the linear
actuators (7, 8) and to support the smooth operation of the conveyor system.
METHOD OF OPERATION
Moving the trolley on its movable base (1) to the exit of the ceramic membrane filter
30 extruder outlet.
Locking the casters or wheels of the movable base (1) to secure the trolley in position.
Activating the dual .linear actuators (7) positioned at both ends of the conveyor bed Adjusting the height of the conveyor bed (2) to align it with the extruder outlet, ensuring
a smooth transition of the extruded product onto the conveyor belt.
Starting with the conveyor bed (2) in its retracted position, with the cross linear
actuators (8) not extended.
5 Ensuring the endless belt (5) is looped around the drive roller (3), cjriven roller (4), idler
wheel (6), and the second set of drive rollers (9) in their lowered position.
Turning on the drive motor (13), which rotates the drive roller (3) via the drive shaft
(14).
The rotation of the drive roller (3) initiates the motion of the endless belt (5), starting
10 the conveyor operation.
Beginning the extrusion process of the ceramic membrane filter.
As the wet extruded product exits the extruder, it is smoothly transferred onto the
moving endless belt (5) of the conveyor bed (2).
15 The supporting rollers (12) fixed under the conveyor belt provide additional support to
the wet extruded product.
These rollers (12) prevent the product from bending and sagging, maintaining its
straightness as it is conveyed.
If the length of the extruded product increases, activate the cross linear actuators (8)
20 to extend the conveyor bed (2).
As the conveyor bed (2) extends, the second set of drive rollers (9) is raised to the
surface of the first roller setup.
The extended pulley (1 0) and connecting belt (11) transfer the drive force from the first
set of rollers to the second set, ensuring smooth operation of the extended conveyor
25 belt.
The extruded product is continuously conveyed on the endless belt (5) as it exits the
extruder.
The adjustable height and length of the conveyor bed (2), along with the supporting
rollers (12), maintain the product's straightness and quality.
30 As the extruded product reaches the end of the conveyor bed (2), it can be carefully
collected or transferred for further processing or drying.
Continuing the extrusion process, with the trolley's adjustable conveyor bed (2)
supporting and conveying the extruded ceramic membrane filters Adjusting the conveyor bed's height and length as needed to accommodate different
product requirements.
ADVANTAGES
