Abstract
Rapid population growth alerts the agriculture sector the need for increased agricultural productivity to meet the rising demand for food. Nanotechnology is an emerging field with a wide potential. Crop productivity, improved soil health, improved photosynthetic activity can be achieved by this new technology. Thus, the need to identify and develop a new material with a biodegradable precursor is a major concern for researchers today. So far, activated carbon obtained from the carbonaceous materials are used for adsorptive purposes. The reduced surface area of these materials limits the advantage of its usage. Thus, carbon dot having a comparatively higher surface area, when doped with TiO2 enhances its applicability as Nano fertilizer. Green synthesis of carbon dots from Oleifera moringa leaf extract, a natural biomass as the carbon precursor can be manufactured using hydrothermal carbonization. The biocompatibility property of carbon dots suggests it to be a preferred material for environmental issue.

Specification
Description:T1) Synthesis of leaf extract: The present invention of carbon composite (100) starts with the
precursor chosen. Oleifera Moringa leaf extract prepared with the help of Soxhlet extractor (101) in
presence of Ethanol as solvent. This extract is centrifuged, filtered and stored as carbon dots.
(T2) Synthesis of composite: Titanium (IV) isopropoxide (TTIP) dissolved in water (1:10) gradually
added the carbon dot solution into this with continuous stirring. The ratio of CDs to the TTIP can be
1:1. The hydrothermally treated at 120-160 oC for 6 - 12 hours to get TiO2 doped carbon dots (103) , Claims:1. A green synthesized Carbon dot/metal oxide nanocomposite (100) comprising: A metal oxide
nanoparticles, TiO2 (103) and a carbon dot (102);
2. A green synthesized nanocomposite (100) of claim 1, wherein the precursor used for the
synthesis process (101) for carbon dots (102) are biodegradable, eco-friendly, Oleifera
Moringa leaf extract and the less than 10 nm dimensional size are good as plant photosynthesis;
3. A green synthesized nanocomposite (100) of claim 1 and 2, wherein the carbon dots are
decorated on TiO2 nanoparticle (103) to get the composite (104), having enhanced property
like antimicrobial, anti-oxidant, enhanced water and nutrient absorption capacity, crop
productivity (107).
4. A green synthesized nanocomposite's (100), as claimed in claim 1 and claim 2 with
characterization study (106) and properties (105) as claimed in claim 3 used as Nano fertilizer
(108) with improved efficiency.
5. A green synthesized nanocomposite (100) as claimed in claim 1 wherein the carbon composite
material which is used an efficient Nano fertilizer.
