[0001] This invention generally relates to a carbon capture system and in particular relates to a carbon capture system that helps in capturing carbon emissions in a manufacturing facility.
BACKGROUND

[0003] The industrial sector, particularly in high-temperature manufacturing industries like glass production, is a significant contributor to carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, primarily through the combustion of fossil fuels and high-energy processes. As gover , Claims:1. A carbon capture system (100) comprising:
a carbon capture unit (102) configured to extract carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from a flue gas;
at least one storage unit (104) configured to store the extracted CO2; and
at least one processor (106) configured to optimise the efficiency of extracting the CO2 by varying one or more parameters of the carbon capture unit (102) based at least on variations in CO2 concentration within the flue gas.

2. The carbon capture system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the carbon capture unit (102) includes at least two carbon capture modes.

3. The carbon capture system (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the at least two carbon capture modes include a fast capture mode using solid sorbents and a sustained capture mode employing mineral carbonation, based on real-time variations in CO2 concentration within the flue gas and capacity of the at least one storage unit (104).
