The integrity of elections is fundamental to the functioning of democratic systems, and , Claims:1. A blockchain-based voting system for secure elections, comprising:
a voting interface for securely casting votes by eligible voters;
a blockchain ledger for recording the votes, wherein each vote is stored as a transaction on the blockchain;
a verification mechanism for authenticating the identity of voters, wherein the identity is verified through biometric or cryptographic techniques;
a smart contract module for automatically tallying the votes and determining the election results;
anonymization means for ensuring voter privacy, wherein the voter's identity is not disclosed in the blockchain ledger;
wherein the blockchain ledger is decentralized and immutable, providing an auditable, transparent, and tamper-resistant record of votes.
