Description:
FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of navigation systems and, in particular, to a blind navigation system designed to assist visually impaired individuals in safely navigating their environment through advanced sensor integration and real-time data processing.
BACKGROUND
[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Traditional navigation systems primarily cater to sighted individuals, relying heavily on visual cues such as maps, road signs, and GPS displays. These systems are o , Claims:1. A blind navigation system (100) comprising:
a plurality of sensors configured to detect environmental parameters and user position;
a communication module coupled with the plurality of sensors, wherein the communication module is configured to transmit the collected data to a centralized processing unit;
a processor communicatively coupled with the communication module, wherein the processor is configured to:
receive the collected data from the centralized processing unit;
analyze the collected data;
generate navigational cues based on the analyzed data; and
deliver the navigational cues through auditory feedback and tactile signals.
2. The blind navigation system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of sensors includes ultrasonic sensors, cameras, and gyroscopes.
3. The blind navigation system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the navigational cues include information on obstacles, route changes, and points of interest.
