Title: BLEACHING POWDER SPRAYER DEVICE FOR ROAD SIDE GERMS PROTECTION The titled invention "Bleaching powder sprayer device for road side germs protection" discloses the design of hand-held bleaching powder sprayer device to disinfect road side effectively in a safe and quick manner. The bleaching powder is loaded into the device through the powder inlet (6). The helical conveyor (7) transports the powder from the top to the bottom steadily without any clump formation. Vibrating pad (10) at the bottom vibrates gently to break down any clump in the bleaching powder and direct it through the exit pipe (11 ). The spray nozzle (12) sprays the bleaching powder on the targeted area of the road side. The drive motor (8) and the vibrator motor (9) drives the helical conveyor (7) and the vibrating pad (10) respectively. The enclosure cabin (1) encloses all the components of the device. The handle (2) provides grip while handling the device. The battery 20 storage (3) supplies power for the operation of the device. FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention is related to disinfectant device and particularly related to
bleaching powder sprayer device for road side germs protection.
DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART
Roadsides and public spaces are hotspots for the spread of diseases due to high
human activity, waste, and pollutants. Bleaching powder is a powerful disinfectant
used to sanitize such public spaces. Bleaching powder kills germs, bacteria, virus and
other harmful microorganisms. Bleaching powder is generally applied manually.
15 Workers physically carry the bleaching powder container and spread the powder on
the required area using their hand. This is time-consuming and exhausting especially
for large areas. There is an increased risk of accidental exposure to eyes and other
sensitive parts. Prolonged exposure to bleaching powder may cause respiratory
issues. Moreover, there is a possibility of uneven coverage and wastage of bleaching
powder.
E The present invention overcomes the drawbacks of the prior art by providing a simple
and cost-effective bleaching powder sprayer device for road side germs protection. It
has inlet to feed the bleaching powder into the· device. It has helical conveyor and
vibrating pad to ensure continuous and clump free delivery of bleaching powder
through the spray nozzle on the exit pipe. This improves the overall sanitation in public
spaces with less human intervention.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the design of bleaching powder sprayer device for
road side germs protection. The device features an enclosure cabin made up of non -
~ corrosive material to enclose all the components of the device. The bleaching powder is loaded into the device through the powder inlet at the top. It has a lid to be opened to feed the bleaching powder and closed while operating. Handle is provided for
convenient handling of the device.
It has helical conveyor that transfers bleaching powder from top to bottom steadily
without clump formation. There is a vibrating pad at the end of the helical pad which
5 vibrates to break down any clumps formed in the bleaching powder. This enables the
bleaching powder to be transferred through the exit pipe without any blockage. The
bleaching powder is sprayed on the road side through the spray nozzle at the end of
the exit pipe.

1. ENCLOSURE CABIN
M Enclosure cabin is made of corrosive resistant material which forms the outer
covering of the device which encloses ~II the components of the device. The handle
and the exit pipe are present outside the enclosure cabin.
2. HANDLE
Handle is. present outside the enclosure cabin for convenient handling of the
device. It provides grip to hold the device while operating.
5 3. BATTERY STORAGE
Battery storage is present at the bottom of the device to supply power for the
operation of the device.
4. CONTROLS SWITCHES
10 Control switches are present at the bottom of the device to control the operation of
the device.
5. LID
Lid is present at the top of the device. The lid is opened to feed the bleaching
15 powder into the device. The lid is closed when the device the device is operating.
6. POWDER INLET
Powder inlet is present at the top of the device. The bleaching powder is fed into
the device through the powder inlet. The powder inlet is closed with a lid when the
device is operating.
7. HELICAL CONVEYOR
Helical conveyor runs vertically along the length of the device to transport the
bleaching power from the powder inlet at the top to the vibrating pad at the bottom
25 steadily. The helical conveyor is driven by the drive motor at the bottom. Helical
conveyor ensures controlled and continuous movement of the powder through the
device to prevent clump formation.
8. DRIVE MOTOR
Drive motor is present at the bottom of the helical conveyor. The drive motor drives
the helical conveyor.
9. VIBRATOR MOTOR
Vibrator motor is present below the vibrating pad to vibrate it.
10.VIBRATING PAD
Vibrating pad is present at the end of helical conveyor. The vibrating pad is driven
by vibrating motor beneath it Vibratin'g pad is vibrated to break up any clumps in
the bleaching powder and prevent blockage. This ensure that the bleaching powder
5 is transferred smoothly through the exit pipe without blockage.
11. EXIT PIPE
The exit pipe is the outlet through which the bleaching powder from the vibrating
pad reaches the spray nozzle.
12. SPRAY NOZZLE
Spray nozzle is present at the end of the exit pipe. Spray nozzle sprays the
bleaching powder on the targeted area on the road side.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is a bleaching powder sprayer ·device for road side germs
protection is one which reduces human intervention in disinfecting public spaces to
enhance efficiency and workers safety.
Powder inlet (6) is present at the top of the device. The bleaching powder is fed into
the device through the powder inlet (6). The powder inlet (6) is closed with the lid (5)
when the device is operating.
Helical conveyor (7) runs vertically along the length of the device to transport the
bleaching power from the powder inlet (6) at the top to the vibrating pad (10) at the
bottom steadily. The helical conveyor (7) is driven by the drive motor (8) beneath it
The helical conveyor (7) ensures controlled and continuous movement of the powder
through the device to prevent clump formation.
Vibrating pad (1 0) is present at the end of the helical conveyor (7). The vibrating pad
(10) is driven by vibrating motor (9) beneath it. Vibrating pad (10) is vibrated to break
up any clumps in the bleaching powder. This ensure that the bleaching powder is
transferred smoothly through the exit pipe (11) without clogging.
The exit pipe (11} is the outlet through which the bleaching powder from the vibrating
pad (10} reaches the targeted area on the road side. The spray nozzle (12} present at
the end of the exit pipe (11} sprays the bleaching powder on the targeted area.
Enclosure cabin (1} is made of non- corrosive material enclosing all the components
of the device. Handle (2} is provided outside the enclosure cabin (1} for convenient
handling of the device. It provides grip to hold the device while operating.
10 Battery storage (3} is present at the bottom of the device to supply power for the
operation of the device. Control switches (4} are present at the bottom to controL the
operation of the device.
15 METHOD OF OPERATION
The step-by-step method of performing the operation is explained.
1. The lid (5} is opened.
2. The bleaching powder is fed into the device through powder inlet (6} and the lid
(5) is closed.
3: The control switch (4) is turned on.
4. The helical conveyor (7) transfers the bleaching powder from the top to the
bottom of tl:le device steadily without clump formation.
5. Vibration pad (10) breaks the clump any formed in the bleaching powder and
transfer it through the exit pipe (11 ).
6. The exit pipe (11) directs the bleaching powder on the targeted area through
the spray nozzle (12).
7. The worker mo'!es on the road with the device on his hand focusing the area to
be disinfected.
8. This process is continued till the entire area is disinfected.
9. Control switch (4} is turned off.
