ORDINARY APPLICATION

Published

date

Filed on 28 October 2024

Abstract

Accident Detection and Tracking system aimed at reducing response times and enhancing emergency services' effectiveness. The proposed system utilizes a combination of sensor data, GPS, GSM, real-time data to detect vehicle accidents automatically. Upon detecting an accident, the system instantly transmits an alert to emergency services and pre-defined contacts saved in GSM module, providing them with precise location data and other critical information

Specification

Description:The systems(200) are made up of many sensors such as an accelerometer sensor(201) Arduino board(104),SIM GSM(106),Data server(107),GPS(108),Gyro sensor(103), which are installed in the vehicle to collect information about the vehicle's location and direction at the time of the accident. Use accelerometers and gyroscopes to measure dynamic parameters such as vibration, shock, and high-speed compression or tension. The system uses biosensors, vibration sensors (102), and airbag sensors to measure crash frequency. , C , Claims:1.An Accident detection and Tracking system (101) comprising an Accelerometer sensor (102) which is used to detect the orientation of a vehicle and motion changes when an accident occurs and also measures the vehicle's acceleration and sends the data to an Arduino board (104);
2.An Accident detection and Tracking system (101) as claimed in claim1 wherein the Gyro sensor (103) uses a micro electro mechanical systems -MEMS (203) and rotating rotors with three axes to measure the device's orientation and acceleration of a vehicle based on the displacement of mass and send the information to GPS (107);
3.An Accident detection and Tracking system (101) as claimed in claim2 wherein a GPS tracking system (107) uses the Global Navigation Satellite System (204) network that incorporates a range of satellites that use microwave signals transmitted to GPS(107) devices to share information about the live location of a vehicle to GSM (105);and
4.An Accident detection and Tracking system (101) as claimed in claim3 wherein the GSM (105) requires a SIM card to register a connection with the service providers in the nearby location, when the accident occurs the live location of a vehicle determined by GNSS (204)is then sent to emergency contacts saved in data server (205) via GSM(105).
