FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention is related to jewelry authentication and particularly related to 10 authentic jewels digital hall mark identifier.
DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART
The BIS Hallmark is a certification mark used to indicate the purity and quality of 15 precious metal jewelry, including gold, silver, and platinum. The hallmark is an assurance to the consumer that the jewelry they are purchasing is genuine and meets the required standards of purity set by the BIS. There will be BIS logo (triangular), purity mark (carat), and a six-digit alphanumeric HUID code stamped on every hallmarked jewelry item and can be used to verify its authenticity. The hallmark is 20 verified manually while purchasing and selling the jewelry. Manual verification of hallmarks has many potential issues, including human error, wear and tear on hallmarks. Some hallmarks may be hidden in the interior part of the jewelry which may not be visible during manual inspection. This results in a slow and labor-intensive process, especially when testing multiple pieces of jewelry or large batches. 25 The present invention solves the issue explained in the prior art by providing authentic jewels digital hall mark identifier. It consists of high-resolution image processing camera to scan the jewelry like rings and bangles where the hallmark is embedded on the inner side. It checks the BIS logo, the purity mark, and the HUID number and ensures they match BIS standards. It displays the authenticity of the jewelry on the 30 LCD screen. This is method is fast and easy to verify the authenticity of the jewelry.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the design of authentic jewels digital hall mark 35 identifier. It has a safe enclosure enclosing the jewel placing counter. Jewel placing counter has a scanning platform with a turn table in the center. A pin hole camera is
mounted on the center of the turn table. An image processing master camera is placed near the turn table.
The jewelry is placed on the turn table and the table starts rotating. The pin hole camera captures the detailed image of the hallmark engraved inside the jewelry piece.
Master camera analyses the captured image and detect the BIS logo and hallmark symbols. It ensures that markings are crisp and detailed and are in compliance with the official BIS standard. It verifies the HU1D number with the official BIS portal and display the authenticity of the jewel along with the detailed information about the jewel.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE TO THE
DRAWING
1. SAFE ENCLOSURE
Safe enclosure is the outer most covering of the device enclosing the jewel placing counter. The LCD screen and camera controls are present on the frontside of the enclosure.
2. JEWEL PLACING COUNTER
Jewel placing counter is present inside the safe enclosure where the jewel to be checked is kept. Jewel placing counter consists of a scanning platform and a turn table with a pin hole camera and a master camera mounted on them.
3. SCANNING PLATFORM
Scanning platform is present at the bottom of the jewel placing counter. The jewel is scanned in the scanning platform. Scanning platform consist of a turn
table with a pin hole camera and a master camera facing the turn table to scan
the jewel in detail.
4. PINHOLE CAMERA
Pinhole camera is mounted at the centre of the turn table to capture the detailed image of the inner side of the jewel. The captured image is sent to the master camera for analysis and verification.
5. MASTER CAMERA
The master camera is mounted on the scanning platform facing the turn table.
Master camera detects when the jewel is placed on the turn table and turns the pin hole camera and the turn table. The image captured by the pin hole camera is received by the master camera for detailed analysis. The master camera analyses the captured image and detect the BIS logo and hallmark symbols. It ensures that markings are crisp and detailed and are in compliance with the official BIS standard. The HUID number is cross-referenced with the official BIS database for verification. The result is displayed on the LCD screen.
6. TURN TABLE
The turn table is placed on the centre of the scanning platform. The turn table has the pin hole camera mounted in the centre. When the jewel is placed on the turn table, the turn table starts rotating to enable the pin hole camera to capture the complete image of the inner side of the jewel placed.
LCD SCREEN
The LCD screen is present on the front side of the safe enclosure. It displays whether the jewel is authentic along with the detailed information about the purity and origin of the jewel.
8. CAMERA CONTROLS
Camera controls are present near the LCD screen in the front side of the safe enclosure to control the camera settings.
The present invention authentic jewels digital hall mark identifier is one in which the authenticity of the jewel like ring and bangle is verified quickly by checking the hallmark stamped on its inner surface. 10 Authentic jewels digital hallmark identifier is a box shaped safe enclosure (1) with an open jewel placing counter (2) on the front side. The LCD screen (7) and camera controls (8) are present on safe enclosure (1) abo<e the jewel placing counter (2).
Scanning platform (3) is. present at the bottom of the jewel placing counter (2). The 15 jewel is scanned in the scanning platform (3). Scanning platform (3) consist of a turn table (6) with pin hole camera (4) and the master camera (5) facing the turn table (6).
When the jewel is placed on the turn table (6), the master camera (5) detects it. Master camera (5) directs the turn table (6) to rotate and enable the pin hole camera (4) to 20 capture the complete image of the inner side of the jewel placed. The pin hole camera (4) and the master camera (5) settings can be controlled using camera controls (8)
The image captured by the pin hole camera (4) is sent to the master camera (5) for detailed analysis. The master camera (5) analyses the captured image and detect the 25 BIS logo and halfmark symbols. It ensures that markings are crisp and detailed and are in compliance with the official BIS standard. The HUID number is.cross-referenced with the official BIS database for verification.
The LCD screen (7) displays the result whether the jewel is authentic along with the 30 detailed information about the purity and origin of the jewel.
