Additionally, the proposed device is capable in repelling the sun rays back in surroundings for proper assistance in keeping the user free from heat while performing the operation.
[0020] Referring to Figure 1, an isometric view of an assistive device for providing shade is illustrated, comprising a rectangular frame 101 fabricated with a pair of straps 102 configured with a latching unit 111, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 103 installed on the frame 101, a drawer arrangement 104 integrated in the frame 101, a pair of C-shaped plates 105 integrated on the frame 101, each by means of a telescopically operated rod 106, a sun sensor 107 embedded on the frame 101, a L-shaped flap 108 integrated on the frame 101 by means of multiple telescopically operated links 109, and a motorized ball and socket joint 110 integrated in between the flap 108 and each of the link 109.
[0021] The proposed device comprises of a rectangular frame 101 fabricated with a pair of straps 102 accessed by a user for fastening the straps 102 on waist portion of the user to enable the user to wear the frame 101 on the user's back. The frame 101 is fabricated with a cushioned member to provide a comfortable experience to the user. The strap is configured with a latching unit 111 for aiding the user to secure the straps 102 around the user's waist. The latching unit 111 acquire proper wrapping of the straps 102 to acquire proper grip around the waist portion.
[0022] The frame 101 is installed with an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 103 to determine body dimensions of the user. The imaging unit 103 comprises of a camera and processor that works in collaboration to detect the body dimensions of the user. Herein, an AI (artificial intelligence) protocols encrypted with the processor linked with the imaging unit 103 to enhance its functionality and capabilities. The AI protocols are used to process and analyses the images captured by the camera enabling it to perform various tasks beyond traditional image capturing. The AI analysis is performed locally on the camera itself and the real-time processing on the camera enables immediate responses and faster decision-making.
[0023] The camera, herein captures images in vicinity of the frame 101 with the help of specialized lenses designed to capture high-quality visuals. The captured data is now pre-processed via the processor to enhance its quality and prepare it for AI analysis. This pre-processing involves tasks such as noise reduction, image stabilization, or color correction. The processed data is fed into AI protocols for analysis which utilizes machine learning techniques, such as deep learning neural networks, to extract meaningful information present in the images.
[0024] The camera is capable of analysing the vicinity of the frame 101 and providing real-time updates or alerts about the vicinity of the frame 101 based on predefined rules or criteria. Herein, based on extraction of the data from the captured images, a microcontroller (not shown in figure) linked with the imaging unit 103 analyses the data to detect the dimension of the user's body. Based on detecting the dimension of the user's body, the microcontroller actuates a drawer arrangement 104 integrated in the frame 101 for increasing and decreasing dimensions of the frame 101 to properly arrange the frame 101 over the user's back.
[0025] The drawer arrangement 104, herein discloses comprises of a carriage assembly and a DC (direct current) motor that works in collaboration to extend and retract the frame 101 . The carriage assembly fitted with two rails that are used for sliding the block up and down. The block opening located at the end of the rail and have two clips that are used to secure the ring with the frame 101 . To extend the drawer, the drawer is pushed to open and the carriage assembly slide outward. This creates an opening to allow extension and retraction of the frame 101 in accordance with the detected dimension of the user's body.
[0026] Further, a pair of telescopically operated rod 106 integrated with a pair of C-shaped plates 105 installed on the frame 101 for extending and retracting for positioning the plate in proximity to the user's hands for providing support to the user while performing an operation. The rod 106 is equipped with a pneumatic unit that is activated by the microcontroller to provide extension and retraction of the rod 106. The pneumatic unit comprises of an air compressor, air cylinder, air valves and piston.
[0027] The air valve that allows entry or exit of the compressed air from the compressor. Furthermore, the valve opens and the compressed air enters inside the cylinder thereby increasing the air pressure of the cylinder. The piston is connected to the cylinder and due to the increase in the air pressure, the piston extends due to which the rod 106 extends for positioning the plate in proximity to the user's hands for providing support to the user while performing an operation.
[0028] A sensor 107, herein is installed with frame 101 for detecting position of sun rays reflecting on the user's head corresponding to a sunny weather condition. The sun sensor 107 comprises of a small window like structure which embedded with multiple photosensitive units. When the light coming from a direction falls on the user, the photosensitive units that works on the principle of photoelectric effect convert the photons from sunlight into electric currents. Further, the sensor 7 converts the current into digital signals. After that the signals are transmitted to the microcontroller which is further analyses the signal to detect the direction of sunlight for detecting position of sun rays reflecting on the user's head corresponding to the sunny weather condition.
[0029] Based on detecting the sunny weather condition, the microcontroller actuates multiple telescopically operated links 109 integrated with an L-shaped flap 108 integrated on the frame 101 to extend and retract for deploying the flap 108 over the user's head for protecting the user from the sun rays. The links 109 are equipped with the pneumatic unit that is activated by the microcontroller to provide extension and retraction of the links 109 for deploying the frame 101 over the user's head to protect the user from the sun rays thereby allowing the user to work comfortably in the sunny weather conditions.
[0030] The flap 108 is layered with a heat-reflecting fabric for repelling the sun rays back in surroundings. The heat-reflecting fabric absorbs portion of the infrared radiation emitted by the sun rays for repelling the sun rays back in surroundings. Herein, a motorized ball and socket joint 110 integrated in between the flap 108 and each of the link for providing omnidirectional movement to the flap 108 to tilt the flap 108 in direction of the reflected rays. The ball and socket joint 110 comprises of a ball like structure and cup like structure that are liked with each other via a motor that is activated by the microcontroller to provide rotational motion to the ball like structure with 360 degree orientation to move the flap 108 in view of properly protecting the user from the sunrays.
[0031] A battery (not shown in figure) is associated with the device to offer power to all electrical and electronic components necessary for their correct operation. The battery is linked to the microcontroller and provides (DC) Direct Current to the microcontroller. And then, based on the order of operations, the microcontroller sends that current to those specific electrical or electronic components so they effectively carry out their appropriate functions.
[0032] The present invention works best in following manner that includes the rectangular frame 101 fabricated with a pair of straps 102 accessed by a user for fastening the straps 102 on waist portion of the user to enable the user to wear the frame 101 on the user's back. Also, the artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 103 determines body dimensions of the user based on which the microcontroller actuates the drawer arrangement 104 for increasing/decreasing dimensions of the frame 101 , in order to properly arrange the frame 101 over the user's back. Further, the telescopically operated rod 106 is actuated by the microcontroller to extend/retract for positioning the plate in proximity to the user's hands for providing support to the user while performing an operation. Further, the sun sensor 107 detects position of sun rays reflecting on the user's head corresponding to a sunny weather condition based on which the microcontroller actuates the telescopically operated links 109 to extend/retract for deploying the frame 101 over the user's head for protecting the user from the sun rays, thereby allowing the user to work comfortably in the sunny weather conditions.
[0033] Although the field of the invention has been described herein with limited reference to specific embodiments, this description is not meant to be construed in a limiting sense.
