1. An AI-driven healthcare platform for reducing healthcare provider workload by
automating patient request triage and routing, the platform comprising:
a plurality of AI-enabled smart speakers positioned in patient rooms, said
smart speakers configured to capture patient voice inputs and transmit said inputs to a
cloud-based AI bot for processing;
a cloud-based AI bot utilizing Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms
to interpret the patient's voice input, said AI bot categorizing the input into predefined
task types;
a triage engine operatively connected to the AI bot, said triage engine
configured to prioritize patient requests based on urgency and type, wherein the triage
engine routes medical-related requests to healthcare providers and non-medical
requests to support personnel, thereby reducing unnecessary involvement of
healthcare providers in non-essential tasks;
at least one smart dashboard located within a healthcare facility, said
dashboard configured to display real-time patient requests, including the type of
request, urgency, and patient room number, wherein said smart dashboard provides
healthcare personnel with continuous visibility of patient needs;
a cloud infrastructure hosting said AI bot, triage engine, and supporting
server-side code, ensuring scalability, real-time processing, and secure data
management of patient requests;
whereby the platform reduces the number of physical trips made by healthcare
providers to patient rooms by at least 50%, thereby alleviating healthcare provider
stress and burnout.
2. The AI-driven healthcare platform of claim 1, wherein the smart speakers are selected
from commercially available smart devices, including Google Home or Amazon
Alexa, each smart speaker being configured to operate with specific room information
to ensure accurate request localization.
