Specification

Description:[013] The following sections of this article will provide various embodiments of the current invention with references to the accompanying drawings, whereby the reference numbers utilised in the picture correspond to like elements throughout the description. However, this invention is not limited to the embodiment described here and may be embodied in several other ways. Instead, the embodiment is included to ensure that this disclosure is extensive and complete and that individuals of ordinary skill in the art are properly informed of the extent of the invention. Numerical values and ranges are given for many parts of the implementations discussed in the following thorough discussion. These numbers and ranges are merely to be used as examples and are not meant to restrict the claims' applicability. A variety of materials are also recognised as fitting for certain aspects of the implementations. These materials should only be used as examples and are not meant to restrict the application of the innovation.
[014] Referring now to the drawings, these are illustrated in FIG. 1, in this system, Users register their vehicles and personal details, including biometric and/or retina data, through a mobile application or a web portal. The registration links the vehicle number with the user's identity and payment details. The mobile application is designed with user-friendly interfaces, allowing easy data entry and verification. The biometric and retina data are encrypted and securely stored in a cloud-based system to ensure privacy and security during registration. The registration process also involves linking preferred payment methods, such as credit/debit cards or digital wallets, to streamline the payment process during fueling.
[015] In accordance with another embodiment of the present invention, when the registered vehicle arrives at the fuel station, cameras or RFID sensors identify the vehicle using its unique license plate number. The system uses advanced image recognition algorithms to accurately detect the vehicle even in challenging lighting or weather conditions. Once identified, the system matches the vehicle with the registered user information in real time, enabling a personalized and efficient fueling experience.
[016] In accordance with another embodiment of the present invention, the user provides biometric authentication (fingerprint or retina scan) through a sensor mounted at the fuel station or within the vehicle. The AI module verifies the authentication data with the registered information to confirm the user's identity. The authentication process is designed to be swift and user-friendly, ensuring minimal waiting time. In case of failed authentication, the system can prompt the user to retry or use an alternative payment method, thus ensuring flexibility and a positive user experience.
[017] In accordance with another embodiment of the present invention, upon successful authentication, the fueling process starts automatically. The AI-driven payment management system connects to the user's pre-registered financial accounts or digital wallet and completes the payment securely. The system employs tokenization and multi-factor authentication to enhance payment security. Users receive a notification through the mobile application confirming the payment and transaction details. The AI module also monitors fuel consumption patterns and provides insights and recommendations to users, such as reminders for refueling or tips for improving fuel efficiency as shown in figure 2.
[018] In accordance with another embodiment of the present invention, during fueling, the AI module may suggest relevant products or services available at the station, such as car accessories, snacks, or car wash services. Personalized offers and discounts are provided based on user preferences, which can be directly added to the payment transaction. The AI module continuously learns from user behavior and preferences, ensuring that the suggested offers are relevant and appealing. Additionally, loyalty programs can be integrated into the system, allowing users to earn points and redeem rewards during future visits.
[019] All user information, including biometric data, payment details, and transaction history, is securely encrypted and stored in a cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations such as GDPR. The system uses advanced encryption protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to protect sensitive data. Regular security audits and updates are conducted to maintain the integrity of the system and safeguard against potential cyber threats.
[020] The present invention provides a seamless fueling and payment experience by integrating AI with advanced authentication technologies. It enhances user convenience through personalized offers and recommendations, reducing the need for manual interactions. It improves security by utilizing biometric and retina-based payment authentication, which reduces the risk of fraud and unauthorized access. Reduces waiting times and manual intervention during the fueling process, leading to a faster and more efficient experience. Offers personalized e-commerce opportunities, allowing users to make additional purchases conveniently while fueling. Enhances data privacy and security through robust encryption and multi-factor authentication, ensuring user trust. Integrates loyalty and reward programs to increase user engagement and station loyalty.
[021] The invention has applications at public and private fuel stations, providing a secure, efficient, and AI-driven payment management experience for drivers. It can also be integrated with e-commerce platforms for offering additional services at the fuel station. Furthermore, the system can be adapted for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, providing a similar seamless and secure payment experience for EV users.
[022] The AI-based fuel station and vehicle system described herein offers a transformative approach to the fueling experience by integrating AI-driven payment management, advanced biometric authentication, and personalized e-commerce features. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies, the system enhances user convenience, security, and engagement, while also providing significant operational efficiencies for fuel station operators. The invention is poised to redefine the way drivers interact with fuel stations, making the process more secure, efficient, and personalized.
The integration of AI and biometric technology not only streamlines the fueling process but also adds a layer of personalization that can significantly improve customer satisfaction. Fuel stations can benefit from increased customer loyalty and engagement, as the system creates a more interactive and responsive environment for users. The AI-driven insights also allow station operators to better understand consumer behavior and tailor offerings to meet customer needs effectively.
Furthermore, the scalable nature of the system means it can be deployed at different types of fueling stations, from large urban facilities to smaller, rural locations, and even at electric vehicle charging points. The adaptability of the technology allows for the inclusion of future enhancements, such as blockchain-based payment systems or integration with smart city infrastructure, ensuring that the solution remains relevant in an evolving technological landscape.
[023] The benefits and advantages that the present invention may offer have been discussed above with reference to particular embodiments. These benefits and advantages are not to be interpreted as critical, necessary, or essential features of any or all of the embodiments, nor are they to be read as any elements or constraints that might contribute to their occurring or becoming more evident.
[024] Although specific embodiments have been used to describe the current invention, it should be recognized that these embodiments are merely illustrative and that the invention is not limited to them.
