Specification

Description:
FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to a field furniture technology and in particular relates to an automated height adjustment system for lecture desks.
BACKGROUND

[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Traditional lecture desks often have fixed heights, requiring users to adapt physically to the desk's height, leading to discomfort and inefficiency during lectures or presentations. The lack of adjustable height options may result in ergonomic issues for users of varying heights, po , Claims:1. An automated height adjustment system (100) for lecture desks, the system (100) comprising:
a sensor (102) configured to detect height of a platform (104) of the lecture desk;
a set of user-input buttons (106), wherein the user input buttons (106) comprises Up button, Down button, Scan button, and Stop button accessed by a user to provide input to adjust the platform (104);
at least one processor (108) operationally coupled with the sensor (102) and the set of user input buttons (106), wherein the at least one processor (108) configured to:
receive and analyse the provided input;
sends a clockwise (CW) signal to a motor (110) attached to the platform (104), upon activation of the Up button, causing the platform (104) to raise;
sends a counterclockwise (CCW) signal to the motor (110) upon activation of the Down button, causing the platform (104) to lower.

2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one processor (108) is further configured to analyse the sensor data upon pressing t
