Specification

Description:[001] The invention, in general, relates to the field of combustion engines. More specifically, the present invention relates to an alternative fuel assisted control system for internal combustion engine.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[002] The following description provides the information that may be useful in understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[003] The increasing demand for energy, rising fuel costs, and the adverse environmental impact of traditional fossil fuels have led to a growing interest in alternative fuels for internal combustion engines (ICEs). Conventional internal combustion engines, primarily powered by gasoline or diesel, are major contributors to greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution.
[004] Traditional fuels often have different chemical compositions compared to conventional fuels, re , Claims:1. An alternative fuel-assisted control system for an internal combustion engine, comprising:
A fuel type identification module configured to detect and identify the type or blend of alternative fuels being supplied to the engine, including but not limited to natural gas, hydrogen, ethanol, biodiesel, and gasoline;
A fuel injection control module configured to adjust the fuel injection timing and quantity based on the identified fuel type to maintain optimal combustion conditions;
An air-fuel ratio (AFR) management system configured to dynamically control the mixture of air and fuel supplied to the combustion chamber, ensuring optimal combustion for the specific fuel or blend in use;
An ignition timing control system configured to modify the ignition timing based on the combustion properties of the alternative fuel, preventing engine knock and improving fuel efficiency;
An exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system configured to adjust the recirculation of exhaust gases into the combustion chamber to reduce nitro
