Particularly, the present disclosure relates to the Algosomes-gold (ALG/Au) complex and a process of preparing the Algosomes-gold (ALG/Au) complex. The complex employs a programmed cell death mechanism known as ferroptosis, which is characterized by lipid peroxidation. Fig. 1
