Specification
Description:The present invention relates to an Algi blend device used for mixing alginate with the help of a motor and by using electricity.
BACKGROUND
[001] Recent studies showed that performing automatic alginate mixing showed various effects on alginate materials - commercially named Identic (Cadco), Kromopan (Lascod), and Jeltrate (Dentsply/Caulk). While an increase in the tear energy was observed in the Identic alginate, it was not observed in the other alginate materials. The three alginates showed higher elastic recovery and compressive strength for automatic mixing when compared to manual mixing.
[002] Irreversible hydrocolloid materials are commonly used for both diagnostic and definitive impression procedures. Impression yields a detailed recording of the mouth plaster model. To obtain a mouth plaster model, impression material is used for a negative imprint of tissues in mouth. Without an impression model, it is impossible to make prosthesis. Due to their low cost and ease of use, alginate impression materials have been widely used for the past sixty years in dentistry. Alginate mixing can be done in three different ways: manual, semi-automatic, and full automatic. Mixing by a machine decreases air entrapment and viscosity and thereby results in a better alginate paste.
[003] While alginate impression materials indicate high mechanical properties to ensure their stability during dental treatments, alginate impression materials are required to have enough viscosity to make a way into all oral structures. There are various mechanical tests applied to impression materials and their mechanical properties, such as ANSI/ADA specification no. 18-1992 and ISO 37:2005 specifications. Based on these specifications, the mechanical properties, such as elastic recovery, strain under compression, tensile strength, compression strength, and tear energy, are considered.
[004] The manual mixing of alginate cause uneven mixing of the powder and this uneven particles affects the perfection of impression which is important thing in the impression and the because of this uneven mixing the setting time of material is also fast which cause the impression set before placing in patient mouth. So, this alginate mixer will ease the mixing with proper mixing of the material without creating any mess to the impression.
[005] One such prior art US5709467A details about a technique and equipment for mixing and dispensing alginate are revealed. The innovation involves a pouch with a sealable opening that allows water and alginate to be added. There is a sealable spout on the pouch as well. One aperture could serve the purpose of these two openings. A dentist uses his hands to manipulate the bag containing the water and alginate in order to combine the two substances. The bag can be drained by opening the spout once the ingredients have been well combined. The pouch can be thrown away after it is empty.
[006] Further, another prior art JPH0751043Y2 discloses for kneading the dental kneading material, there is a kneading surface that is made to suit the inside surface of the rubber bowl container. The surface is shaped so that it essentially forms a portion of the spheroid's tip and side. An axis intersects the principal axis of the handle at a nearly 120-degree angle with the kneading surface inside, and the handle's head has an outer peripheral edge of the kneading surface projecting at an acute angle. Additionally, there is a spherical tail section on the side opposite the handle portion's head.
[007] Another prior art US11896939B2 discloses a mixer is a part of a system or equipment that has a three-dimensional lattice with several winding, connected passageways. At least two distinct components that combine to generate a combined fluid stream are communicated with by the mixer. The sources or streams may be on the upstream side of the mixer with an outlet placed downstream of the mixer, or they may be on the opposite sides of the mixer at least initially. Providing a mixer with a 3D lattice that defines multiple tortuous, connecting passages through it and choosing a material for the mixer based on its physical properties-such as a chosen one or more of the mean flow pore size, thickness, and porosity volume-may be a related technique.
[008] At present, one prior art "MajorMix 300 Alginate Mixer", by Major Dental discloses, the MajorMix 300 Alginate Mixer enables any dental clinic to consistently produce flawless impressions by standardizing the alginate mixing process. MajorMix 300 will consistently create a uniform, lump-free mixture devoid of air bubbles. The newest and most sophisticated equipment available is the MajorMix 300, which offers bubble-free sensations through smooth mixing. The ideal blend improves flexibility and tear resistance, leading to more precise casts and impressions. More time is gained and less alginate is spent. Because it lacks prominent buttons, the flat digital control panel was created especially to be more secure and easier to clean.
[009] Another prior art "NMD Nexus Medodant Dental Automatic Alginate Mixer", by MyDentalStocks discloses NMD Electric Alginate Mixer Die Stone Impression Material Mixing Machine. It recommends a suitable engineering department among seven engineering departments for each student based on his academic performance. The data of each department (i.e. educational program) is fed to the recommendation system. Then, the relevant set of features for each department is selected and a machine learning algorithm with the best performance is selected for the recommendation process of each department. The obtained results showed that the proposed model recommends the best machine learning algorithm (i.e. model) for each faculty department, find the relevant data that are important in the recommendation process and recommend the student with the suitable engineering department(s) with high accuracy.
[0010] Another prior art "MX-300", by Zhermack discloses the MX-300 is an automatic alginate mixer that produces consistent, repeatable results, helps standardize the mixing process, and greatly increases mix quality when compared to manual approaches. Mixing is simple, quick, and reliable, which increases dental surgery efficiency. To determine the ideal mixing durations for each alginate and to ensure product technical qualities, the MX-300 has been tested using the Zhermack line of alginates.
[0011] There is thus a need for a device to automate the alginate mixing using motor and electricity.

DC motor is a device that transforms direct current electrical energy into mechanical energy. Direct current is the electrical energy input that a DC motor uses to generate mechanical revolution.
[0039] According to an embodiment of the present invention, the algi blend 100 may comprise a DC motor. The DC motor is an electrical device that transforms electrical energy from direct current into mechanical energy. Its foundation is electromagnetic induction, which is the force that rotates a conductor carrying current-typically a coil of wire-when it is placed in a magnetic field. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, mechanical work is done with this rotation.
[0040] In an embodiment of the present invention, there are many applications for Robotics, electric cars, some industrial machines, and household appliances can all employ DC motors. Wherever speed control is necessary, a DC motor can be employed. For this reason, DC motors are frequently found in elevators, trolleys, and electric train manufacturing systems.
[0041] In an embodiment of the present invention, DC Motor comprises Field System or Stator, Armature, Commutator, and Brushes.
[0042] In an embodiment of the present invention, DC Motor comprises Field Coil or Stator, is the stationary or non-moving component of the DC motor that generates a magnetic field when coiled. The stator is made up of several components, including the end plates, field winding, pole shoe, pole core, yoke, and body.
[0043] In an embodiment of the present invention, Field Coil or Stator comprises Yoke. A DC machine's structure functions to establish a magnetic circuit between its poles.
[0044] In an embodiment of the present invention, Field Coil or Stator comprises Pole Core. Pole cores are typically made of magnetic materials, such as laminated iron. For the magnetic flux produced by the field winding, it acts as a conduit.
[0045] In an embodiment of the present invention, Field Coil or Stator comprises Pole Body. The pole core and pole body cooperate. A magnetic flux is created in the pole core as well as surrounding it when an electric current flows through the field winding. The pole body is made up of the poles and their bearings.
[0046] In an embodiment of the present invention, Field Coil or Stator comprises Shoe. One of an electric motor's brushes is referred to as a shoe. DC motors are usually sodded and feature brushes to touch the revolving armature.
[0047] In an embodiment of the present invention, Field Coil or Stator comprises Field Winding. Next to the stator on the pole core is the field winding. Insulated copper wire is used for field winding. The pole core is encircled by an insulated copper coil. Magnetic flux is produced if direct current is used to excite this coil on the pole core.
[0048] In an embodiment of the present invention, Field Coil or Stator comprises End Plates. The entire motor is enclosed by end plates. They offer a housing for the armature, commutator, brushes, and occasionally field windings, among other internal components.
[0049] In an embodiment of the present invention, DC Motor comprises Commutator. DC appliances like DC motors and generators need commutators. It generates constant torque by regularly reversing the current flowing between the armature and the circuit.
[0050] In an embodiment of the present invention, DC Motor comprises Brushes. Brushes, also known as carbon Graphite is used to make brushes. Brushes in DC motors provide current to the armature winding.
[0051] In an embodiment of the present invention, DC Motor comprises Armature. The motor's revolving armature is what produces mechanical energy. The core of the armature has windings. Each of the 0.3 to 0.5 mm thick, high magnetic strength silicon steel lamination sheets that make up the armature core has a thin coating of varnish over it.
[0052] In an embodiment of the present invention, the method comprises DC Motor Working. Fleming's left-hand rule can be used to determine the mechanical force acting on a current-carrying conductor when it is placed in a magnetic field. The conductor moves in the force's direction as a result of this force. In the main magnetic field, a current-free conductor that is not connected to the supply is positioned, and the magnetic field is not passing through the conductor. Assume that the N and S poles are separated by an air gap.
[0053] In an embodiment of the present invention, the method comprises DC Motor Working. Although the N and S poles' magnetic effects are no longer present, current is still flowing through the conductor. The conductor will continue to produce its own magnetic field in this scenario. According to the cork screw rule, the conductor's magnetic field lines of force will be clockwise.
[0054] In an embodiment of the present invention, the method comprises DC Motor Working. Both the primary magnetic field and current are present in the conductor. The magnetic field created by the conductor's current acts in opposition to the main field below the conductor but in tandem with the main field above it. As a result, flux density decreases in the area below the conductor while flux builds up in the area above it.
[0055] It is evident from this that the force pushing on the conductor causes it to move downward. If the conductor's current direction is altered, the flux will build up downward and attempt to push the conductor upward.
[0056] In an embodiment of the present invention, DC Motors can be classified into various categories based on the application and winding connections. Based on the winding of armature DC Motor is of two types Self Excited DC Motors and Separately Excited DC Motors.
[0057] In an embodiment of the present invention, the results disclose validated in the patient by taking impression who is under Orthodontic treatment as shown in Table 1.
