ABSTRACT The evolution of conversational agents has led to the creation of personalized virtual assistants that interact with users more human-like and engagingly. This project focuses on developing a Companion Chatbot that leverages an adaptive memory system to provide personalized user interactions. Because of its memorybased architecture, this system can gradually pick up on and adjust to each user's speech's unique preferences, routines, and subtleties. Natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning models are combined to enable the chatbot to comprehend user sentiment, anticipate their wants, and provide customized responses based on past exchanges. Unlike conventional mle-based chatbots, this one adapts dynamically to the changing preferences of users, enhancing the hunian-like, supportive, and engaging nature of interactions. In addition to helping with everyday chores, the chatboi serves as a friend by providing individualized, sensitive responses. The chatbot helps with everyday (;hores and serves as a friend by providing thoughtful, conversational responses, tailored recommendations, and emotional intelligence. Because of the system's adaptive memory, it can safely keep personal data and provide users with a consistent experience that gets better over time. Additionally, its ability to integrate with external APis, wearables1 and social media platforms enhances its ability to offer contextsensitive guidance and decision support, such as recommending lifestyle choices or managing personal goals. experience. These assistants can carry out duties and answer questions, but they.
frequently are not able to adjust to the user's tastes, feelings, or requirements.
Because of this, conversations may come across as robotic, impersonal, and
incapable of offering genuine affection or customized instruction.
Companionship: Companionship is a social and emotional bond that improves a
user's entire digital system experience. Good companionship with digital
technologies fosters a sense of belonging, emotional support, and understanding
for users. In the context of this project, the companion chatbot is designed to
achieve these goals by simulating human-like interactions, supporting daily
activities, and offering personalized responses.
Adaptive Memory System: Th·~ primary function of this chatbot is its adaptive
memory system, which enables it to store, retrieve, and adjust to user-specific data.
Because it is constantly learning from user interactions, preferences, and habits,
the chatbot may provide more and more individualized recommendations and
responses. The charbot's expanding knowledge base enables it to function as a
conversational partner as well as a task assistant, remembering and adjusting to
previous interactions.

1. Personalized Interaction: To provide users with a highly personalized and
adaptive conversational experience by utilizing memory-driven responses that
evolve based on individual preferences, past interactions, and emotional cues.
This allows the chatbot to deliver meaningful and contextual conversations that
cater specifically to each user's needs.
2. User Preference Adaptation: To adapt .dynamically to user preferences over
time, using data such as communication style, frequency of interaction, and
personalized content recommendations. This ensures that the chatbot offers
increasingly relevant and customized support for each user.
3. Emotional Intelligence and Support: To enhance the chatbot's ability to

may involve offering motivational encouragement, empathizing with emotions, or
